$1625 powder coated with the hoop is just insanity. You can get a full overland front bumper for that price. Most stealth bumpers are less that 800 bucks. Have a feeling you wont be selling many of these with the competition out there selling a nicer stealth bumper for HALF the price (cough cough CALI RAISED) but hey good luck!
I dunno, the fact it's 45 pounds and easily the least protruding minimalist front bumper compared to other competitor's stealth bumper makes it rather unique to me at least. 4WP, Caliraised and BA are all 85+ lb bumpers and require aftermarket shocks.
This is a completely unnecessary and just plain stupid comment. This bumper combined with a sherpa winch weighs in right around 100lbs. For those of us who daily our taco or use it as a work/hunting truck and don't want to weigh it down with 500lbs of "overland" poser armor then this is the perfect bumper! I will be ordering one asap. But hey, good luck being a condescending dick.
They got to be better then the Bumper superstore I paid $3000 for a trailready bumper and 2 months after I paid for the bumper I get a email saying that the labor day sale is over and the bumper went up $400 and they want the extra $400 I told then that there must be a mistake because I paid in full and I've never heard back from them I have a receipt where I paid in full They want return my calls and deleted my reviews They just scamming people Good luck out there
I'm worried after being cut the now weak and flimsy top part of the plastic bumper flapping in the wind at highway speeds. After time I would think that'll cause fatigue then failure.
Just a sidenote - I needed to use a control box relocation kit or the top of the winch does not clear a grille support crossbar. I used the SDHQ Warn Zeon 3rd gen Tacoma relocation kit. Another tip to save someone some headscratching, depending on how your front skid plates are built you will likely need to remove the skid to get the bumper onto the 6 bolts where the stand-offs got removed. It's a straightforward install but my specific combination of parts needed some extra creativity to work out. Obviously everyone's situation is a bit different and the video is just about the bumper but just trying to help people plan ahead if they are going Warn on a winch.
@@xziang I have Greenlane skid plates as well. Both Greenlane products so they are designed to nest into each other and it makes sense that the skid plate goes on after the bumper but I looked at it and thought it would clear when tilting the bumper into place. The piece that needed clearance was that top lip that is bent upward and sits higher that the level piece where the 17mm bolts go through.
Another handy thing to know is that the stock grille CAN be removed and reinstalled with the bumper on even if you have the Greenlane bumper with the hoop. It just squeaks past the hoop to get the bottom tabs back in.
@@silvermonk13 According to Honda, any aftermarket non OEM products can have an impact on air bag deployment speeds. A .01 second slower deployment can mean a big difference in airbag terms. I'll try to find the video I found on it.
Just checked out your prices and my ass hurts.
Yep same here! Insane prices!
Seems like this could’ve been engineered where it wouldn’t require so much cutting of the OEM bumper cover.
I hope you guys are selling a lot of these. Way better than anything out there! I will be ordering later today!
Hey Greg! Thank you for your continued support of Green Lane Off-road!
I would love one of these for my 2nd gen.
This should be $600 minimum why tf is it over 1k ?!???
wow this came out just in time, ordered a couple weeks ago! thanks guys
Hey Phil! We appreciate your support!

Do you have to cut the body to remove the crash bar or does that just make it easier?
Does the stump bumper and to the overall length of the truck?
Does it work with TRD factory skid plate?
Yes it does...
Great video. Can you list the tools used?
I'm ordering one for my 4runner. We need an install video. Or, is it exactly the same as the Taco?
How much difference in weight from removed stock items to installed hardware when complete?
I measured very close to 20lbs, not including the optional licence plate bracket
@@shredfest30 thank you. I'm a tight wad so just looking at possible mpg decrease.

Hey Jason, we include brackets that mount the side plastic to our bumper that make it more secure than the factory!
@@greenlaneoffroad what bracket are you referring to? I only received four bolts nuts washers and the plates to relocate powersteering cooler
How big of a winch kit can be installed with that bumper?
It fits a Warn Zeon 10-s for sure. That means it will also fit an 8-s too.

What skids did you have? Wondered about these when using RCI skid plates. (Actually any of these front winch mount style bumpers)

Does the addition of a stump bumper impact air bag deployment?
I would imagine it wouldn't since there are no sensors in the bumper for the airbag system.

How will this work with a skid plate?
It clears with plenty of room ( TRD Pro skid)
Does the hoop affect the front-facing camera?
Nope!
@@greenlaneoffroad awesome! Now to start saving the pennies.... Wait, they don't exist anymore... the knickels
Man, that's a lot of work to install a bumper made on a brake........
I was going to buy that bumper till I saw the price. No thanks.
Hey Johnny! Our pricing is in Canadian dollars, and includes free shipping anywhere in North America.
Cut out cut out, throwing out a lot of things. No thanks, I probably just keep it as it is
