    will this lower my frames per second or resolution on game clips i already recorded ?

    Awesome content!👍
    One question:
    How do I paste the copied clip onto the same layer?
    the frustration Im facing now is that the copied clip would be automatically pasted on the new addtional layer on top of my main layer..then I have to mannually drag it back down to the original layer..
    this could be very time consuming when I need to copy and paste the exact same clip multiple times...
    Thanks heaps !😀

      I know exactly what you are talking about. When I first started using VSDC,I was just as mad as you because of this very thing,dragging clips below every time I duplicated one. Unfortunately,we still do not have a better option yet. The clip or image or text automatically gets pasted in a new layer on top of the original layer. Hopefully,developers of VSDC software will soon rectify this in the coming updates.

      @@nextgenblogger cheers bro for your prompt reply and honest feedback 😎 can you think of any other free video editing software similar to VSDC without such an issue ? ( this seems to be a rather small n petty issue but in practicality it indeed NOT! I create meditation videos..you could easily imagine me trying to duplicate few seconds long clips just to make it into hours long😅 repeating the dragging motion hundred times driving me nuts 😝

      @@financialfreedom8600 My friend,why don't you simply loop your video. Do one thing, search 'loop video nextgenblogger' on CZcams and you will find my video where I have shown how you can loop a video. And to loop video,you don't need to copy paste the same clip again and again,you simply need to extend the duration of your clip and select the loop video option inside the properties window.

    I noticed i can't fade out my video for less than (0.5) seconds without it glitching and playing the last half second of my video again.
    Thoughts?

    • @nextgenblogger
      @nextgenblogger  Před 3 lety +1

      Less than 0.5 seconds is very less time for the fade out effect to take place. Theoretically you can still do it but practically some sort of glitching is unavoidable.

    My fade in and out stopped working.. My settings are the same as yours and VSDC is updated and I also have Pro.. I don't know what could be causing it to not work anymore... any ideas?

    • @nextgenblogger
      @nextgenblogger  Před 2 lety

      That is so strange,normally you should not face any problem with the fade in/out effect. Do one thing,first click on the fade in/out effect whichever you have added in the timeline and than look inside the 'Properties window' where you will find the 'Transparent settings'. Now tell me what is the value inside the 'Transparency' option.

    • @katjustice7937
      @katjustice7937 Před 2 lety

      @@nextgenblogger Clicking on the fade out it shows 0% Even after I raised that value it still does not fade or fade in.. I didn't mess with any controls when I started to make a video, this is not my main acct btw. VSDC, been using it for a year now and has some glitches especially trying to grab onto tiny bits of video, I have to always extend the duration just to grab it.. Well I am at a lost about the fade in and out.

    • @nextgenblogger
      @nextgenblogger  Před 2 lety +2

      @@katjustice7937 ok,now read carefully what you have to do. For fade in,you have to write the values 0;100 inside the transparency option and for fade out,you have to write the values 100;0 inside the transparency option and that's it. Do let me know the outcome. This should most probably solve your problem.

    how to apply fade in and fade out effect in images

    • @nextgenblogger
      @nextgenblogger  Před 2 lety

      1)Double click on your image in the timeline.
      2)Directly apply the fade in and fade out effect,same way how I showed in this tutorial.

      @@nextgenblogger sir its finding difficult to match timing with images as image appear in different page and effect in different page. Can u share to clearly how to adjust timing in connection to images sir.

    • @nextgenblogger
      @nextgenblogger  Před 2 lety

      OK. So let me explain to you with an example.
      1)First import 4 images in the timeline.
      2)Duration of each image should be 5 seconds.
      3)Place your 1st image at 0 seconds in the timeline.
      4)Now place your 2nd image at 4 seconds in the timeline. Meaning your 1st image and your 2nd image will overlap by 1 second.
      5)Place your 3rd image at 8 seconds in the timeline. Meaning your 2nd image and your 3rd image will also overlap by 1 second.
      6)And finally place your 4th image at 12 seconds in the timeline. Meaning your 3rd image and your 4th image will also overlap by 1 second.
      7)Now add fade in and fade out effect inside all the 4 images.
      Do let me know the outcome or if your question was something different and I gave you a completely different answer. Hope this works.
