  • With the release of VSDC 6.9, we’ve also rolled out a brand new built-in tool: LUT editor.
    VSDC LUT editor allows you to:
    - edit existing LUTs (those you’ve selected from the built-in menu or imported from 3rd-party resources) - and create your own LUTs from scratch!
    In this tutorial, we are taking a close look at the new tool and showing you how to perform color correction like a real pro using LUTs.

    Oh my god. What a coincidence. I discovered the custom LUT feature today and tried to make it but failed. Then I searched your channel for a tutorial but didn't find one. And here you are with one. Damn.

    Yes... I tried it... It is awesome... I used it to reduce spill on the green screen video.... And it works prettt awesome...... But its not perfect for spill suppression....... But its very cool.......
    I hope there is an advanced spill suppresor option for green screen remover..... HSL keying is more accurate... I can key out hairs and reflection pretty fastly and accurately..... But spill suppression is difficult

    NICE! This LUT isn't as detailed as After Effects but I love how much easier this is to use. Thank you! Question, is VSDC thinking about adding more text effects along with 3D text?

    A suggestion for VSDC is the addition of specific color wheels for Highlights, Midtones and Shadows. It would also be interesting and important to add Scopes such as Waveform, Vectorscope and RGB Parade, it would help a lot in Color Correction and Color Grading

    Can the lut editor be accessed on the videos basic effects tab? A shortcut there would be awesome, that tab is my main colour workspace, incorporating the LUTs with the Basic Effects tab would be useful

    can you use this to isolate one thing in a video. Say there are two items both yellow and if you use a lut it will change the colors of all the yellows. Is it possible to change one thing and not everything.

    • @VSDCFreeVideoEditor
      @VSDCFreeVideoEditor  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Hello,
      By using LUT, you can highlight all the necessary points that are located within a specific color space and transfer them to another space, thereby changing their color. Additionally, you can utilize the Lift, Gamma, and Gain Color Wheels. We have provided instructions on how to use them here: www.videosoftdev.com/how-to-use-lift-gamma-gain-in-vsdc.
      If you require any further information, feel free to contact us at support@videosoftdev.com.

      Hi! Great question, thank you. With the free version, you can import 3rd-party LUTs, edit them, create LUTs from scratch, and apply them to your videos within VSDC. The only paid feature is exporting your custom LUTs (in case you want to use them in other photo or video editors)
