Well, VSDC Pro is really cheap, like 25$/year. When you see that Adobe make people pay 135$/month, and then you see that VSDC have the same fonctions, even in the free version... We're lucky to know the existence of VSDC. Most people are still on an expensive, bugging and slow video editor.
That's how software works, it lures customers to buy.

So as I understand it, if you don't have the pro version and can't make multiple dynamic crops per video clip/image, you'll have to split it into multiple pieces and create linear dynamic crops for each piece

would be nice if you state at the start of your videos if the shown feature is a premium or not. just finished editing for 4 hours, and now im going through placing all the fx on everything, and i cant even use the only effect i want to use. crop zooming. sorry buds but i think that was the deal breaker with me, i was ready to buy pro cause this actually seems like a nice editor to use, and to see how it functions, i cant even use any fx. nice demo. if theres anyone reading this and thinking of getting it, do what you want but in the non pro version, all you can pretty much to is cut up videos.

duplicate the original video and apply mask with rectangle, you can also set up 50% opacity for original video

The cropping is there in Editor Tab but when I go to export Project and preview it there the Cropping is gone

Whenever I try this, the end result looks like pixelated garbage. The dynamic zoom works fine, don't get me wrong. But the resolution goes down the toilet when it zooms in. Am I doing something wrong? Tried this on a jpeg that is 7000x5000 pixels, so it's plenty large. Zoom in even a little bit... and it looks like a Minecraft image. Nothing but blocks and squares.
