X-Men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse is the sequel to the 2004 X-Men Legends. It was released in 2005 for the Xbox, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and Gamecube. It even received an N-Gage release. It is an action roleplaying game that allows you to choose and control a team of 4 out of a pool of 18 playable characters from the X-Men universe. It was well received at time of release and is one of the predecessors to to the very popular Marvel Ultimate Alliance games.

Lol. Your X-Men: Legends training really played off. Stark improvement now compared to last time you fought Grizzly.
Edit: Also, yeah, unlocking mission briefings mid-mission sort of implies the player is supposed to routinely go back to camp. It’s very inconvenient and unnecessary, but not forced upon the player, so hardly a real issue. Great for extra character interaction you don’t get a lot of mid-missions.
