- Watch as I tackle one of the meanest light tackle bruisers! The mighty SMOOTH-HOUND. This species of shark has a main diet of sandcrabs and since I'm always trying to "match the hatch". It was just a matter of time before I went toe-to-toe with this elusive crab eater!
Seen your post on CSA, and had to watch how the pros do it. 🤙🏽

@@FishingWithStingrayDrew yes can’t wait! I have some of your smaller jig heads but had trouble casting them. I recently got a lighter Elixir rod. I forget about Fishing Syndicate rods. Going to give them a look.

Appreciate it, thank you! Thing is an absolute workhorse. I've already caught so much on it it's ridiculous. Best 2-6# rod I've ever owned. You can fish 2# no problem but still pull the shark out of the bull kelp on 6# 😂.
It's an 8' Fishing Syndicate 2-6# model. Part of their new trout series. They're located in La Habra, CA. You can walk in and check out the entire line and pull on them if you like. They like it 😉. Let them know I sent you.
