Can I predict when fish bite?? I’d like to think so. But it’s all about putting time on the water and paying attention to what the conditions are doing and look like. Threw the BattleStar jerk bait. It’s a Daiwa Sealine SS ultra light. Older rod, not sure they even make it anymore. My favorite rod to throw from the surf.

10’ 1/4-1/2oz rating. Light action. Perfect for 110-115 size lures. 3/4 egg sinkers. When I throw heavier baits I switch rods to my okuma.
