Awesome and great fishing! 🎣🐟🐠You are really good! Nice catch and good fish! Amazing and astounding! Peace and joy always. 😀👍👍
I appreciate that very much, thank you. It's all about having fun 🙂
Great light tackle video, admire your approach, jig heads seem a lot easier than Carolina or drop shot.
Respect from England.
Thank you for the kind words! Appreciate it very much. Yes! It's all about precision casting when looking for bites. Especially for tailing fish in the shallows. I've eliminated extra terminal tackle, wind knots, bait, and anything time consuming that takes away from my fishing. Sometimes I only have a couple hours to fish and I intend to fish the entire time. Plus, the bites I get are incredible and come faster than anything else I've ever used. Anything that eats sandcrabs will devour my approach. Much love from SoCal 👊
Nice catches!!
Appreciate that very much! Thank you 🙂
💕 Wow💚💚💚💚💙💙💚
What beach u at?
Damn that’s a pig dude, nice catch
It sure was! Still is. Thank you very much. The one I got last week was even bigger. Check it out. "The return of the Surf City King"! And I ain't talking about myself 😉. It was a true OC Trophy 🏆💯
Hey brother were can I buy those surf heads and the plastic sandcrabs.
Thanks 👍
You can find these heads at Topnotchleadheads.com
They are currently sold out. Next drop will be in the next week or two. Make sure you follow Top Notch Leadheads on IG or FB. As for the plastic. That's just a Zman product. I have a video showing how I modify them and rig them. Head to my channel and check it out. If you haven't already, subscribe 🤙

Hi, what is the name of this fish? Do you prefer to use this artificial bait in the video or do you prefer the natural one? Is it easy to find this natural bait on the beaches? I'm arriving in Venice, LA next week and I'm going to do this type of fishing, I thought it was really cool.
Hey 🤙
This is called a Barbed Surf Perch. Yes, I prefer using artificial. Nothing wrong with bait but I like the challenge. Right now finding bait on the beach would be a bit tough to find but not impossible. Best bet is to find the nearest tackle shop and buy bait such as mussels, clams, ghostshrimp, sandworms, anchovies, or sardine. If you can find sandcrabs on the beach or fresh mussels that would be ideal. It can be abundant during the summer months but during the spring it can be work finding free bait. Another reason why I choose to use artificial but it takes technique and a bit of determination.
Thank you very much for your answer, I'm going to venture into fishing there, I have experience in Brazil and Portugal with various types of fishing, I'm going to try fishing with artificial bait and I'm also going to use natural bait. Could you tell me the weights of the jigheads you used on this fishing trip? And could you tell me some fishing spots within a 20 km radius of Venice for me to explore when I'm there? Thank you very much and happy fishing! I'll watch your other videos too!
@@luthug I'm using a special jighead built specifically for surf fishing. They're called "Surf Heads" and can be found online at topnotchleadheads.com
What makes this head so unique is the shape, weight, and size hook. I'm using a 3/8oz with a 2" plastic that matches the sandcrabs.
Right now the Leadheads are out of stock at the moment. There was just a limited drop yesterday that sold out in a matter of minutes. Next drop is sometime at the end of next week hopefully. So keep an eye out online if interested. If you have Instagram, follow me at topnotch_leadheads so that's way you can stay up to date. However, I will give my subscribers a chance at the limited drop first since this last one was for IG and gave you all on CZcams zero chances.
I live in Orange County and am not too familiar with Venice, CA. Recommend doing a bit of research online, call the local fishing shops near the area, and/or just look up the nearest beach and try it out. All the bites I've developed over the years have been simply trial and error on my own time. That's the best way to learn. I do understand that your time may be limited so make sure you're using all the outlets at your finger tips beforehand. Call "Martins Fishing Tackle" and ask for Martin. He's a good friend of mine and his shop is located in East LA. He knows that area very well and is more than willing to help just like I am. Let him know I sent you 🤙
Do you park on the PCH road?
Sure do! Anywhere I can find parking is where I'm fishing. I don't have a preference in location. I just enjoy fishing.
Besar sekali ikan nya👍
Terima kasih. Tentu dulu dan sekarang 🙂
