its called "I play Disposable Hero's way more that Master of Puppets". Try getting good at disposable hero's then don't practice it for a month or two while you get you guitar rewired and modified

Galinho Chico Liro If your upper arm is hurting while you’re down stroking I recommend angling your guitar slightly towards yourself while you’re playing instead of playing with the guitar straight up and down, it helps me at least

awesome 101 ya I know same with me, what I practice is playing without the song as fast as I can then playing with the song which is way easier then after (down picking of course) but I'm starting to get better at alternate picking but I was at the same stage as you at one time so, what I do is use my fingers to alternate pick not by whole wrist
It's weird because I learned this song using all down picks and now my guitar teacher wants me to play with alternate picking, I have to know relearn the whole song

Can someone please tell me how to make my down picking look like that. I can play this whole song with using down picking but it looks and sounds no where near as good.
John Mauer man just practice easier downpicking songs first and build up some endurance. Frayed Ends of Sanity is good one to start with and then move onto creeping death or Sanitarium or just anything slower than MoP. When you can downpick those songs no bother then move onto MoP. Currently I'm on Master of puppets. I can Play the riffs a few times down picked now... but downpicking the whole song is tuff. Getting there tho!
Between 5.10 and around the 6.40 mark, for me the greatest piece on metal ever written. Hairs on the back of neck every time since I was 16 and I'm now 40. That slow basic riff out of the melodic section into semi chorus, into solo and back into a crushing riff, nothing like it, live its devastating and this cover nails it, well done mate!

This is probably one of the hardest songs to cover. And probably the most tedious too. It's hard to downpick so fast for almost 9 minutes. All the respect to you man!! you deserve it.

It's standard riff to learn for every metal kid with guitar. It's not that hard, you need just to train it regularly to be able to play it with 100% speed

dude I can tell that this would have sounded almost as good un plugged, you’ve got the power there with your dynamics and feel, alot of metal players rely on the distortion and effects(no shame) but this was just so well done. james, and kirk(an underated rhythm player himself) would be proud.

@@Cotorra72 La compré al final la guitarra cuando estuvimos en cuarentena. La utilicé bastante y pude ir aprendiendo de a poco. Sinceramente me costaba bastante algunas cosas porque tengo dedos cortos, pero aún así practicando todos los días de a poco iba aprendiendo cosas nuevas. No llegué a aprender demasiado, como mucho llegué a tocar la mitad de una canción de linkin park ( what i've done). Posteriormente me mudé de país y la guitarra quedó en mi país de procedencia por lo que se puede decir que abandoné.

I've never played a guitar before, but I heard this is one of the hardest songs to ever play with a guitar because of the absolute fuck ton of down picking.
It's just that it can be hard for a lot of people to endure. For me, it doesn't take long for my forearm and even my shoulder to get sore.
It's more of an endurance thing than technical ability.
Dream Theater - Erotomania , Blind Faith for example are diffucult songs.
