me too i just need help on 1:23 i don't know how many times to hit the muted notes and i look at different vids and they all play it different. And when i play it it doesn't sound heavy it sounds more like the bass part

Dude! You're one of the few I've ever seen play the main verse riff "economically", with the index finger on the 4th fret during the main verse riff. I always see people play with it on the 5th and then stretch it down to the 4th and back up, which always seemed like WAY too much work. There's so much less hand movement the way you (and I) play it. Props man, great job!!

Deceptively simple yet evoking such complexities of emotion that transcend...which in the end more than make up for its simplicity. The irony, for the longest time Hetfield was devoid of showing any type of an emotional connection to his band mates, yet one must have such a deep emotional depth to come up with a masterpiece as this.
