Я так же вырос на рок музыке, slade это группа была в том числе. Слушаю и вспоминаю очень много из прошлого, из 70х годов прошлого, как сейчас любят говорить, века. Но есть и не мало хорошей музыки сегодня, в том числе, а Slade они остались в прошлом, как хорошая и доброе звучание, я слушаю 70-е годы, не позже, самые лучшие годы, пусть они живут там, но я повторю, и сегодня есть не мало, а то и больше новых замечательных рок групп или метал, жизнь не стоит на одном месте никогда.

Slade were so good. Time often fades the memory but when you listen to them it takes you right back, back to Chopper bikes, Please Sir on the telly, Tank-Tops and flares, The Persuaders, Blue Peter, UFO, Catweasel, and the million and one other things that made our childhoods great.
I'm to young to have grew up with all that I wish I was born in the same year as you lot when real music was around you all had a better childhood and actually spoke to people instead of having your noises stuck in the screens all the time I would've loved it. I showed my grandad how to use Google and CZcams and hes baffled by how it knows everything about his favourite bands and singers 😂 ( hes 64)

I think one of the biggest differences most people remember is that kids played out all day long, even when we were really young. We felt a lot more free back then. PS....I'm 56 and I struggle with computers too. There was no internet when we grew up.

In 1971 I was 15, I liked all sorts of music but nothing before or since ever grabbed me like Slade. The day I heard Cos I Luv You changed everything....these were the band for me, it was me, it felt like me & I still love em to this day. Seeing Noddy with his mirrored top hat blew my mind, his voice is unique, I think someone once described it as a cut throat razor. Watching their old videos & listening to their songs now give me goose bumps, it's like I'm 16 again...Slade were awesome & I'm so thankful they came along when they did, for me they're the best rock band ever, I love the Stones, ACDC, Def Leppard & others but Slade are just it.....thanks Noddy, Jim, Dave & Don.

I heard this for the first time when visiting my grandmother, when it came on, I instantly knew as a 9 year old that I loved it. The radio was switched off before I was able to hear the name of the band. I was so pleased when I eventually found out it was Slade. Still gives me goosebumps.

Watching 'Life on Mars' on catch-up brought me here. What a song, what a voice! The 70's (particularly, up until the mid 70's) were for me, with the music, was just sensational. Thumping good sounds that made you stamp your feet and enjoy being young and alive.

И я, старый, сижу и слушаю... Яуза 5, на лампах, всю перебрал. Многие их вещи были у меня, но точно не знал название группы. Потом в армии и дальше ходил и напевал, много лет. Хрен с ним. Моему поколению мало осталось и нас мало осталось, но у нас была ТАКАЯ музыка.

Я вырос под эту музыку, нет слов, одни эмоции, куплю блин гитару и буду петь реплики, слава богу голос хриплый и сильный от природы, думаю получится. Но я считаю поколениям надо донести. Мы пацаны в далёких 70 х годах собирались во дворе и слушали Slade на катушечном Днипро. Советские катушки бобины от фирмы Тасма . Свема. Славутич. Тип -6. Тип-10. Эту песню мы на гитаре вечерами пели. Лучшие годы это 70 года.
