guy looks like he trains so hard that he's always tired, but somehow is demonic fast and never gets tired in the fight, I was surprised how Charles was breathing heavily in between rounds but Islam wasn't, since he never looks like that.
Sparring other elite Dagestani fighters every day for 2 decades does that to you. There’s people in Islam’s camp that would beat any top lightweight right now, and he’s sparring them everyday.

Charles pulling guard, getting takedowns and initiating clinches. attacking from the bottom and getting up. Islam had perfect absolutely fucking perfect timing, and almost didnt miss a single punch or strike. HIs throws off the rhythm step were perfect, no hesitaion. literally one step ahead. If any these guys really caught clean, the result of the fight is exactly that. Islam would have tapped too if he had gotten caught with the same punch. Not even defending oliveira here, cause if you thought that was nothing special... you def didnt appreciate what you saw

I think people are exaggerating how one-sided it was- Makhachev was dominant, but Charles still stood a chance. Oliveira was being tricky on the ground. Champs can come back and avenge themselves on rematches. Any athlete knows that you will have different energy and different performance on different days. I’m hoping he can get the rematch.

I just need to say: before the judges even announced. I was So Proud of Sean and the Corner work from Tim. You guys proved you deserve to be in there with the best dude in the world! Sean damaged Yan more than anyone else has. Sean showed great ground game work, Sean showed toughness and durability. Everyone was doubting. Regardless I am proud of those guys!

Good we had decent judges for once, recognizing takedowns means nothing if you don't do something with them and Petr did no damage while Sean was down.
