I died at the scene when he secretly put all the coins into his pocket, man Charlie sure knew how to make mankind laugh with just tiny details !
RIP
Old habits ~ XD
poking fun at everyone
Charlie had the balls to make this movie. He defied the studio. Screw the studio. He was the best. No one can tell me any different. Long live Charlie. Rest in peace Charlie
By this stage he owned his own production company and was one of the 4 partners in United Artists.
@@binaway yes l know all of that. Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks, Charlie Chaplin and D. W. Griffith started United Artists Studio
What studio?
I just love how he pockets all the coins at the end.
Of course he did. Chaplin was a jew.
@@forbesmag1271 Not a Jew, english. Also, he hated nazism, and found the very idea of white supremacy both horrifying and hilarious. He'd have loved Blazing Saddles - now that WAS made by a Jewish director, and had a very handsome black actor as the hero. I recommend you watch it, to restore your reservoir of moron.
@@forbesmag1271 I hope you mean these replies as humor cause you are hilarious. I love when people assume they know ALL the facts of a deceased person. He is dead. He made very good movies. He was half Jewish, get over it. We are all brothers and sisters. Also, the fact that some refused to identify with being a Jew, we must remember there was and still is prejudice in this world and trying to survive right after both World Wars was no easy task. It's just a movie, and a clever one at that. The fact that you watched this video proves you were somewhat entertained. And that was the whole point to the clip. Have a great day!
He is a Jew.
@@forbesmag1271 Jews have one of the most ancient cultures, they don't need money.
I couldnt stop laughing when he feels the weight of the plates and always hand out the heavy one. The music makes it 100 times funnier. 😂
Wait it has quite a lot logic.🙄
I don't see it as that. Perhaps you're right, but I always thought he was just pointlessly reshuffling things, the way some people do when they don't have a clue what's best.
@@cybrusds3517 the reason for his success. He thought on his feet.
A day without the laughter is wasted
This is absolute genius!! Not a part feels inorganic, or clownish. Perfection!!!
I just love how he smiles at the guy on his left.
A movie which everyone must watch not just for the comedy, but for the timeless message that Charlie Chaplin gives us at the end. I’m very glad I watched this in full and laugh every time. 😂
The genius of timings of those coins being transferred 🤭👌👌
Man the musical score here by Chaplin is so good. Just elevates the scene to another level
OMG I can’t stop laughing
charlie talks for the first time in the movie where chaplin was awesome for the last.
The one and only 👑👑👑👑of comedy.he is funny even by looking at him😄😄😄
This is pure gold.
I hope so. I wouldn't want my death ruled by silver or nickel currency.
Charlie was blessed. The coins made their way to him.
Anyway, the man who ate the coins did the job at last, in his way... for me, the pudding scene confirms the dictatorship was definitely gone after the barber's speech.
i watched this since 2000 and i still watch it after 20 years! It is really funny ^^
For lovers of programming logic ... sorting with bubble method.
😁
Funny, makes me want to see it as a bucket sort.
🤣
That genius track sounds like it's out of a Looney Toons episode
Charlie did all his own music too
To be honest I would imagine this scene as a boardgame
This scene masterclass😂😂😂😂😂😂
Exelente Servicio 👌
Legend ))
The elder man sitting on Charlie's right side was trying hard not to laugh 🤣🤣🤣🤣!!!!!
অসাধারণ from Bangladesh 🇧🇩 🇧🇩🇧🇩
I believe the guy left to Charlie is Chester Conklin, former Keystone comedian (disguised in the walrus mustache). Chaplin used him previously in MODERN TIMES in the gears-fixing scene.
If you read about the movie everyone can say "I believe" like an expert.
Those expressions,,,,,,which Charlie was making after eating that food..........😂😂😂😂😂🤣!!!!!!
Não canso de assistir, muito bom
Situation Humor at His finest
Just magic.
4:26 Il crache les pièces 😂😂😂
Brilliant.
Love from India 💦✔️
Chaplin....untouchable
Charlie Chaplin ke lie like thoko 👉👍👍👍👍🙌
My dear Chaplin knew Tesla for sure, but i am sure they both knew each other! Mr. Twain please tell us!
Genius
WARNING: "DO NOT EAT COIN"
Гений,изпреварил своето време. Уникален
Excellent
Hi
*watches a video with pudding in it*
Me: I kinda want a pudding cup now
This movie was the reason he was kicked out of the US along with other scandels.
He was kicked out of the US because he thought different !
This movie? No I think it's another one :Modern Times.
@@user-vm9ml1bq2x Oh, it was definitely this film. People accused him of being a communist after this film came out and then he made Monsieur Verdoux, which again made people label him as a communist, which of course he wasn't
Or was it that he was communist and also never apllied for citizenship
@@janechaplin5823 Are you related to Charlie Chaplin in any way ?
Super movie 🌹👁️
Timeless
Life of pie...

Hello Mr. Thank you very much.

Hey it's Louie from the Bowery Boys.
Pudding was served like this? Is that pudding?
Yes. It's a European term for a sponge cake. Not like we know it in America as a flavored creamy desert.
That's not the pudding I know & I am European
It's a traditional steamed or boiled pudding which can be savoury or sweet, made with flour and suet amongst other ingredients. This is the true meaning of the word and has been the same in England for hundreds of years. This one looks a bit like a typical plum pudding, still eaten today. Pudding is also another word for desserts in general.
@@susanhall9871 isn't pudding also word for type of sausages like black pudding or blood pudding
@@gregorbaby4269 Yes, they are still made like puddings were hundreds of years ago - often cooked in animal intestines. Later, the other types of puddings began to be cooked in pudding cloth and later still, in pudding basins like we do today.
