This woman was probably my first celebrity crush when I was a kid and saw her in The Mummy. Over 20 years later she is still as breathtakingly gorgeous and extremely talented as ever.

@@maximax8531 They didn't even need to de age her. Rachel still looks about 35 so unless they were de ageing her to look like she's younger than that, they wasted their money. Also, I wonder how she felt about it. She's not a young woman anymore, despite her appearance, but I don't know how she feels about being reminded of her age. Maybe she's totally fine with it - she had a kid when she was 48 which probably does wonders for an older woman's self esteem - but it feels like the filmmakers were saying "51 ain't sexy, Rachel."
Actually, how does ANY actor or actress feel about de-aging technology? Especially those who have aged gracefully. I imagine Helen Mirren would scoff at it because she's always been the kind of woman who wears her years with pride. Kate Beckinsale's only a few years younger than Rachel Weisz but she can still get boyfriends half her age so she has no need for de ageing technology. Robert De Niro accepted it in The Irishman but I wonder if that's partially because he and Martin Scorsese have been friends for decades.
@@tomnorton4277 well, the use of de ageing tech is to better describe the character's age, not the actor's. So, if the directors wanted to use the tech, it's most likely only for the character and the actors need to understand that

Out of all the interviews I’ve seen Rachel do for the film this is the most comfortable or opened I’ve seen her & can’t blame her when Ali just has that natural ability to do fantastic interviews.

She should be proud of her work in The Mummy. Her character is a delight, interestingly flawed, and damned heroic! Her character got me through some tough times.

It's more like she read the script and says "Nope!", the 3rd one is unwatchable, even if she were on it, the time jump and the "mummy" kill it, the kid hating Rick, ugh! I bought the first 2 on DVD the 3rd took me years to watch and I still regret it.
