Rachel Weisz _has_ aged, she just still looks beautiful. The youth cult is strong in our culture, when youth is automatically equated with beauty, and the only way we can compliment a middle-aged actor's looks is saying that they look young or ~never age~.
Agreed -- women can be beautiful at any age.
truth! Aging is beautiful. Rachel Weisz is so stunning
She's only THIS gorgeous at almost 50 because she hasn't messed up with her face (and genetics, sure)
Agreed sooo hard!! Yeah she's aged, like everyone will, but she looks so vibrant and fresh and natural, and still so beautiful.
It is not our culture, it is humanity -- beauty has always been a function of youth. Sexual selection.
He is one of the best interviewer out there, i've watched a lot of this kind of movie interview, some interviewer was a bit off and made the actor uncomfortable but he just really great. Just kinda like graham norton did, he made his guest feel relax
You should check out his work on the Empire magazine podcast, way back in 2012-2014, before he moved to BBC Radio 1. His interviews and movie reviews were great! He had a way that made guests feel comfortable by asking intelligent questions in an engaging and charming way.
He looks handsome and smart, that helps.
Sean Evan's is good too
Before the scandal Jonathan Ross Was the best on bbc, not so much on itv these days though
eh, correct me if I'm wrong but I remember that Graham Norton and Cara Delevingne interview, and she wasn't exactly super relaxed...
How the hell is Rachel Weisz 48 ... She hasn't aged a bit.
Can't believe she is too
tbh she has
@@adw8451 what's tbh?
@@nelsonchibuike7149 To Be Honest
Dhrubo B. women can be beautiful at any age, why are people obsessed with the wild concept of looking good when you’re older
Emma Stone is totally underrated. She kills every role she's in, and I feel like she's not getting the respect. Battle of the Sexes was so great because of her!
Frankie she won an Oscar, is that not respect from the industry.
@@A.A_xv But that was because the Academy only liked the movie she won for. They snubbed her for the Help and she was robbed for Birdman.
I prefer her as Gwen Stacy anyways! Who cares about Oscars?
Have you all noticed how she acts gracefully and being so elegant nowadays?
She's overrated. She's a very good actress. No doubt. But is she great? No. Is she one of the best? Not in a million years. She's in that third bracket in the hierarchy of talent.
Its 2020 and Rachel Weisz is still my crush
I recall the late Carrie Fisher saying what her opinion was about the "admirers" who have had a lifelong crush on somebody they don't know personally - and their reasons...
Nah, she old to be my grandma
Y lo seguirá siendo, es obsesionantemente hermosa
a good year for Gay Rachel Weisz Fans
I knew I was gay before, but oh dear lord have this year done a number on me.
amen
Ahjkks it really is
Yuuuuup
she is so beautiful
They are adorable! THIS IS A FANTASTIC FILM AND INTERVIEW!
Nahhhh stop it, Emma's accent was incredibly good. I was shocked and impressed. (and yeah I am British if you care)
More importantly Emma, Rachel and Olivia Colman beasted this film. So good
I thought it was one of the best I've heard, and I'm a) British, and b) daft about accents. Not nearly as mannered or OTT as most non-UK anglophones having a go. As an example, I COULD NOT STICK Renee Zellweger's accent in 'Bridget Jones' - completely the wrong class for the character, way too posh. And don't get me started on Gwyneth Paltrow.
@@EBGBeee bridget was very middle class tho wtf she did a great job
It was a bit noticeable at times, but this is perfect for her character who is an outsider
Rachel weisz is one of the most gorgeous humans ever. I've always loved her interesting, exotic look and been so jealous.
@@areedashridbeek Canada. I'm blonde and super white haha. But it's her face, her eyes, she looks very interesting and could be mixed races, to me
@@areedashridbeek I guess you appreciate what you don't have. But I genuinely think no matter what, she is so stunning. A lot of modern girls these days don't have that qaulity despite being good looking you know?
Two of my favorite Hollywood women. What a treat to see them together in this interview. I love that Rachel loves "Superbad."
Daniel Craig is a lucky man.
arent they divorced? coz he is gay?

Sharla what the hell are u talking about

I knowwwwww
They are both Magical actors they embody their roles to perfection! Emma stone has one of the funniest bones in the industry love her to bits her British accent is insanely good what a talent.
Age Of The Witch English accent
Blackporsche roadster Do you have a life?
Just saw this the other day. It was very, very good. Rachel really kicked ass, and in the best tradition of so many British actresses, she's able to have show command without coming across as shrill and angry. Another thing I liked about the film was that the rivalry came from a real place of self interest. It wasn't just two insecure women going at each other. By the way the story is actually is based on historical events.
Good point with the command. I loved the moments when she struck a dominant pose in the film. Really believable.
I agree about the 'self-interest' angle. It's not just cattiness or jealousy (although there's some of that involved), it's real make or break political intrigue. Thought it was great to see the genders flipped this time, with the men being generally foppish and largely irrelevant. A nice change.
The film is "loosely based" on historical events, most of it is fiction.
Two lovely human beings
three! the interviewer is brilliant
I like how Stone is incredibly humble about her English accent and Weisz is not letting her get away with it at all
I obviously fell in love with her in The Mummy 😍
Same. She's mesmerising.
*Emma Stone* : I've never done a period film.
*The Help* : Am I a joke to you?
lmao ikr!!
*Gangster Squad*: what about me?
@@Solaria_collector Magic in the Moonlight: and me?
that's not period. that movie time setting was 1960
@@fix24311 exactly. that means it's a period piece.
Racheal looks the same as she did all those years ago in the mummy. God she hasn’t aged
Yes she has.
Well, it doesn't really look it.
Not really but still very young
The way Emma says Yorgos is almost perfectly Greek!
There are times where she says it perfectly but sometimes she has the "g" sound in the middle of YorGos which should be pronounced more like "y" than "g"
@@wonderlandian8465 I agree. Listen also to how the Greeks pronounce Olga
It's... quite far. Sounds more like a Greek-American who doesn't speak Greek saying it. Still, better than people basically saying "Yogos"
Emma Stone the English Accent in Maniac playing a Elf was so good, i was so impressed
It was more ‘high fantasy’ English but yes, she did it wonderfully with the actress playing her sister.
I seriously thought her sister was putting on an American accent because her English accent was superb
@@MinaTee0 If I hadn't already of seen her in Ozark I'd thought the same.
I'm very impressed by the thoughtful questions by the interviewer.
I am blessed to see these two talented women!!!
First time watching an Ali Plumb interview... absolutely loved his interviewing, rapport and questions!
Charming! All three of you!! I'll have the dvd tomorrow. Already know it will be great fun. Really love how very kind and supportive Emma and Rachel are of one another. Class Act.
The most entertaining interview ever. Your questions were brilliant as always, but the actors are so quick and charming and fun!
Genuinely enjoyed the direction of questions in this interview
Ali Plumb is so good! I don't know if I fancy him because he's such an engaging interviewer or if it's just because he's cute. Maybe it's both.
I thought that was Spike Padley xD
I LOVED Rachel's character, I loved her line too re: "love has limits"
The occasional looks of snark and disdain that Rachel Weisz gives the interviewer from time-to-time are GOLD - LOL!
I was totally nonplussed, wondering what were you even talking about... then 5:15 happened. Yeah... I see what you mean.
Came here looking for a comment on this! If looks could kill!
She's so passive aggressively fierce!
@@fe5018 Good catch! That was very subtle, and all the better for it. I hope the interviewer is aware, cause it was an idiotic, juvenile question.
They are so bright and so beautiful
100 percent talent.
True talented women
Rachel is gorgeous!
This guys is so cute and such a relaxed, natural interviewer.
Rachel Weiz also speaks perfect American accent, as shown in Bourne's Legacy.
I love both of these actresses and I can't wait!
they are wonderful, but the film is a dog
marymelarl I thought it was quite entertaining. The three actresses definitely lifted up the movie though because their performance was outstanding.
Rachel looked so amazing in this movie.😍
ALI PLUMB!! I LOVE YOU💖💖💖💖
This was such a great interview! I really want to see the movie now 😂
A LOVE THIS interview, Emma is so funny 😍😂
Rachel Weisz! ...I have such a crush on her!! ...her laugh/smile is divine ...she's just lovely.
"Let's shoot something"
I could watch this movie a million times. So so fantastic.
Excellent interview!
Fantastic accent from a fantastic actress!
I loved the favourite. They were all great in it. I especially like the sound track. Particularly the sound that tracked the time in an intense situation that was playing out. It was just a like a grinding noise. It was great.
3:33, close your eyes and listen to the interviewer's voice!
Ali enjoys his work.
@@bbcradio1 LOL
@@bbcradio1 Well I would love my job too if I had the chance to talk to Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz 😂
Definitely better than looking at the plum 😂
Try the podcast version. ASMR-like?
This film was awesome. Emma and Rachel were top notch performance 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Talk about a great interview 👏🏽👏🏽
two amazing actresses
Some of my favourite lines by Rachel were "a monster for the children to play with, perhaps". And also "You wish me to lie to you? I will not lie. That is love!" I honestly questioned my heterosexuality with Rachel in this movie. She's SO beautiful, such a great actress. Ugh...
The questions were really good, you're very nice 😊
OMG, Emma's voice is getting huskier and huskier and I *ADORE* this!
She said it's a medical condition that she got as a teenager. Don't know the name of it.
@@clarisset7948 it was colics. She cried so hard for six months, that this damaged her vocal chords
Emma stone always make me happy all the time 😍😍
_I love all of Rachel._
Rachel and Emma are fabulous, and I'm a real actress fan.
very nice interview, you don't see this interesting questions being asked nowadays, like the notes from the director kind of query. I'm an English translator student and it indeed is difficult to nail accents, but I just love it. Can't wait to see the movie. All the best from Argentina x
Love the interviewer, he even sounds so soothing
they are amazing!
Emma is so adorable 🥰
Two of my fave actreces in the same movie, I have seen it twice. Not enough times. Now I want to see a movie with Emma Stone and Anya Taylor Joy..
"In America, it's like,.. straight to jail." 😂
This is probably my favorite comedy movie of all time. It's so sophisticated and well written and filmed, it can be appreciated on all levels of film making while also being funny. It's high-brow comedy.
Emma and Rachel you are so amazing and wonderful !!!! Very best actrices !!!!😎🥂🎄
Such a good interviewer! 👊
Blackporsche roadster No it’s not sarcy. I think he’s decent
The Favourite is such a great movie
"staggering!" "staggering" and more "staggering"
omg love this interviewer !!!!!
Very good interview. Relax yet still very deep.
Love these two. Trying to forget the movie.
My two favorites😍
Great interview :)
I love these actresses, and beyond from winning an Oscar, they deserve all the prizes where they're nominated. I must suppose for any American actor participating in an European production is a great priviledge, even though they must modify their accent to speak British accent like Emma, what you think?
Very good interviewer.
brilliant, lovely, delightful, gorgeous Emma Stone
Mike9103 yes she is!
Rachel Weisz is adorable - she looked amazing in Bourne Legacy. Her husband Daniel Craig came by the set - so James Bond literally came to the set of a Bourne movie.
I really love this guy!
Emma never fails to put a smile on my face .... if i were a man , she definitely a die for ....
Haven’t seen the film yet but want to say I liked the interviewer guy here 👍 Cheers 🥂
Lovely, THANKS!
I love when Rachel is explaining the X-Men comment...”I knew he meant it was a bit cr....it was a little cr....it just wasn’t meant from this film”. Now that’s some classy shade 😂
LOVE THE GALS, LOVE THE INTERVIEWER.
this film is great, I love them

What ropey means?
Ad Bo can mean many things to be honest. I use it like “haggard”
RACHEL IS SOOOO PRETTY
Rachel Weisz la más bella y talentosa del mundo. Me tiene obsesionada
I love Rachel Weisz, especially in "The Constant Gardener".
The beautiful woman on the right is 18 years older than the beautiful woman on the left. Crazy.
You certainly wouldn't know just be looking.
Honestly...Rachel...😍😍😍
Rachael weisz beautiful 👌💕
Emma voice 😘
Emma stone is so gorgeous!
Fantastic!!!
They're actually academy award winners @ the description!
The only reporter/interviewer I like to watch his interviews
Brilliant Movie! Where can I get those playing cards from?
Where can I buy those cards? :o
"With this film you've got to do it properly" - 0:47 Their reaction to that comment is very clear to see!
