- October, most definitely my favourite month of the year especially because of Halloween and even more so for pick your own pumpkin! Each year Catrin & myself make a few pumpkin pies, you can't beat them. However, this year I decided to pick our pumpkin in quite a different way to normal. The weather was being kind so I decided to fly over to the local pick your own pumpkin patch at Algy's Farm Shop in Norfolk, UK. Here's how it went down...

The Graham Cracker/ Ginger Snap crust recipe is Awesome! I have been using something similar for years now! Thanks for the extra recipes! It's always good to have an extra laying around :)
Every year we change the recipe a bit, usually for the better! This year's pies were lovely, only able to make 3 more though 😭

So much easier to buy a can of Pumpkin Puree in the store. One of the easiest pies I make for the holidays.

Whipped Cream Topping
1 C (1/2 pint) or 2 C (1 pint) Heavy Whipping Cream
1/2 t 1t Vanilla Extract
1T 2T Powder Sugar
C=cup, T=tablespoon, t= teaspoon, US Pint is 16 fl oz vs UK Pint is 20 fl oz,
US powder sugar = UK confections sugar

Makes 2 Pumpkin Pie 9 inch deep dish
2 C Canned Pumpkin 29 oz
1 1/2 C Evaporated Milk
1/4 C Brown Sugar
1/2 C White Sugar
1/2 t Salt
1 t Cinnamon - powder (i.e. grounded)
1/2 t Ginger - powder
1/4 t Nutmeg or Allspice - powder
1/8 t Cloves - powder
2 Eggs - extra large
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit
Bake 15 minutes at 425 degrees Fahrenheit
Turn down and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit
(Double the time for two pies)
Insert a butter knife in center, comes out clean and it's done.
Brilliant "Build montage" Love it. That pie... I can... smell it. Needs some whipped cream eh? Also the graham crust seems a really tasty change from the typical pastry.
Or double cream with some cannula ice cream 🤤 ginger nut base is a game changer!!! Glad you enjoyed the video 🤙

@@DanielJonesParamotor good on you. You may want to keep an eye on my next few videos then. Its about heating water using deisel are heater and the other one an instant water heater using deisel.
@@justharryjohnson7250 I’ve heard of heater water from a diesel heater (Bobil vans mod) but not instant water! Looking forward to seeing those 👌

I had thought about dropping presents on parachutes but I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to because of airlaw reasons. Maybe I can get an exemption for seasonal ballast? 😂
Had me on the edge of my seat all the way through! The music, the suspense, which pumpkin? would you take off again? would you drop it.... on someones head?! The pumpkin pie looked just delish. A thriller of a halloween video, paramotor styleee... what a TREAT :)

I was allowed to land in the actual pumpkin field but on arrival there was people there so had to change the plan. Next year 😉

Good video, tho i was a bit disappointed as i expected you to swhoop down from 2,000 feet on your paramotor and pick up a pumpkin with your feet and fly away. 😁😎👍...Lov some pumpkin pie with a dash of whipped cream... thanks

I'll do you Hobgoblin but not the Steak I'm afraid. Been vegetarian for the last 3 years, not that I'm pushy with it but the one thing I do say is if people are going to eat meat, get it from a local butchers 👍
