- Destiny 2 The Final Shape - Solo Legendary Campaign Mission "Dissent" - Mission #6 Full Completion Gameplay. Just a video showing my first solo playthrough completion of the campaign on legend difficulty, the sixth mission Dissent.
I will be taking the first clears a bit slower as I go through. As always, I won't post any major story spoilers in the thumbnails outside of mission names.

Man, Targe NAILED it when he said the Witness is afraid... it's the ONE member of its entire race that is afraid of not having meaning for life. That's why the Dissenters speaking to us want to help us stop the Witness... to make amends for their sins and their mistakes, to right all the wrongs caused by the Witness. And I was right to believe it's afraid-- it doesn't just hate the Traveler, it *FEARS* what it offers because it believes it doesn't give life purpose, when life's purpose is to flourish, then eventually fade. On top of how those who are alive GIVE purpose to life, not needing it from some mythical force.
This is the most Ghost characters we've had talking in forever. Glint, Targe, Sundance, and our Ghost. Two of those never had a VA till this expansion.

The little moments that no bit of scripted gameplay can capture. Those little slip ups and mistakes players do as they play.
Did all missions solo on legend, but I'm struggling HARD on the final boss. Gonna call it a night and try tomorrow. Good luck on your run

I barely scraped by with a sword for mobility and blocking, and the shield aspect on Pris Titan which does block the Final Boss attacks if you have enough health. It was a slog, but I did it 🙏
My word of advice would be to use Red Death. its very good at getting rid of ads, and practically heals you fully with each one you kill. And dont be afraid to hide behind cover. Its better to spend another 5 seconds behind cover rather than be blasted by the witness's attack

i like how the dissenter's voices change as they speak, you can tell its not just one person speaking
Mmhmm, it shows just how many of the Witness’ race are bothered by what they’ve done when they became one, and want to put a stop to the main core of the Witness to atone for their sins and to accept their reality that they ran and could be saved from Darkness by Light.
Looks like Warlock is the way to go for Legend. You have a healing dive, a stasis turret, and an arc soul. Titan doesn't seem to have anything that helps that much!
This is the first mission, as a titan, that Ive had to actually be in the same room with the stuff Im fighting. And you are 100% correct lol

There is a slightly hidden prismatic chest in that mission. Just after that boss, while you are running just past the first set of stairs, stay to the left and you’ll see it behind one of the pillars. Gotta be fast though.

Maybe on normal, on legendary this mission is nightmare fuel

This mission with a Titan solo is hard man, what's a recommended loadout? Final boss room is a headache
I struggled through it as well. I used a prismatic build and I switched to the suspending grenade because the side room guys are the true pain in the ass. That way I could take them out of action for a bit. I also learned to back out of the room and recharge my prismatic at the wells and chuck grenades into the room to suspend and volt the minions. Then fight the executors with a refreshed prismatic to keep them suspended.
I died a bunch before I finally made those adjustments that worked out well.
@@stevenmielke1662 yeah man, those ads are more dangerous than the boss itself, but i managed to finish it, i need something that gave me health back, so i figured using Skullfort helm, prismatic thunderclap with unbreakable and knockout, really really helped me out, after finishing the boss just run and don't look back, ignore the enemies
my missions were very smooth, up until the subjugators part, they kicked my ass. i changed from HOIL to Syntho titan to smack em
I am having the same issue on this level... I'll put down HOIL and gear up my synthos.
@@chinbusy6336 it's the melee regen after melee hits aspect that is the difference. Able to remove my heal clip weapon in favor of a damage heavy 🔫 gun
I did the full campaign on legendary but I didn’t get my rewards in the end

Had to run so long from that last tormentor lol. Solo’d with a bubble titan. Thing was a tank on legendary. I make the game harder than it is lol.

Returning player. Where do you get the little turrent thing that shoots alongside you?
If you are using regular stasis you buy the aspect from exo stranger. If you are using prismatic it's either automatically unlocked from the beginning or you unlock it from chests that appear throughout the campaign
PS the aspect is called bleak watcher and it allows you to convert your grenade into a frozen turret by holding down the grenade key or button

In re-watching this, I'm struck by the dialogue and how Targe doesn't understand the difference between "The Darkness" and "The Witness". During this mission and the mechanics of the final boss I became very much aware of how different those two things are.
It is something we had to learn over time and that we didn’t suspect for years playing Destiny 1 and 2. Especially to learn truly that the Darkness is neutral like the Light, there are just evil forces that will manipulate it

Targe is referred to as “he” by Zavala. When Ghost is speaking about “their sacrifice” he is referring to both Zavala and Targe.
