I own a 1990 black on black...a daily driver for the last 9 years. 458000km...summer and winter takes a lickin but keeps on tickin. The best or nothing..LOL

I am so glad to hear there are people who buys these cars and daily drive them like they are meant to be. I hear of so many people that find one of these that they can afford and they buy them and stick them in a garage where they are only occasionally driven on the weekend or in sunny weather only and then back in the garage under a tarp. These cars are meant to be driven everyday. And unlike the rolling science labs that the current S- Classes are, these cars are plenty reliable enough to be an everyday car. And if something needs to be fixed, it can actually be fixed, unlike today's luxury cars where some fancy electronic device wears out, and then the car becomes mechanically totaled because replacing the part is way more than the car is worth. Enjoy your car and continue driving it.

You Didn’ demonstrate the super cool and rare feature for a car of that vintage to have optioned with. And that is this car has the factory rear sunshade and it’s powered. Not even BMW at the time had the power one.
