I'm in love with color! This style of Mercedes is one of my favorite, timeless styles.
Yeah it's a really rare color. I've been told by some other experts that it didn't appear in the United States until 1993.

Yeah it really is I learned that it wasn't released in the United States until 1993. Since this car was originally out of Vancouver they had the option of getting the European colors.
Exquisite, jaw droppingly beautiful Mercedes with a fabulous colour combination.
I often encounter two overused and rarely accurate terms: "Time Warp" and "Mirror Finish" but in this instance they aptly describe this magnificent vehicle precisely. The reflections in the deep glossy paintwork are truly like looking at a sheet of glass. I have never wanted a car more badly, but alas it would not be in my capacity to maintain such a pristine example nor keep it to this truly astonishing standard. One lucky new owner. The new mercedes nowadays are made so cheaply plastic everywhere not like the 1970's till the 90's cars which was so beautifully made and magistic .
Yeah it's really a shame what's happened to the modern car manufacturer. Everything has gone to shit in the name of chasing more profits and satisfying the EPA regulations.
Just wanted to ask can the copper fuses for these models be sourced as this is what was used originally. Th new fuses mess with the electronics and there dissimilar metal is no advised to use when repelacing them fues in fusebox i have knly been able to see aluminium fuses please advise. Thank you and thank for a meticulous walk around this was mercedes at the pinncle of engineering masterpiece.
I don't know the answer to your question I haven't ordered fuses in a long time. I have a big box of the copper fuses out in the shop and I haven't recently looked to see if they're still available.
I just spent 2 minutes on a Google search and yes you can still get the copper ones.

Is the timing chain original or has it been replaced as well?
No need to replace the timing chain on a 60,000 mile car. So yes it is original. These cars came with a double roller timing chain. So absolutely no need to replace whatsoever. Anyone that would replace it is just flushing money down the toilet. You can find these engines on the road with 300,000 miles on them still running the original timing chain. Hopefully that settles your concerns.

This motor is so nice to work on and you can double the horsepower easily with a turbocharger
