In the comics of The Boys, we learn that the Supes don't have any real fighting skills, they just have powers which is why they can do what they want. Someone like Omni-Man with literal centuries of experience was always going to beat Homelander.
Even if omni man didn’t have centuries of experience or even if he had the same amount of training as homelander he still would’ve won and if we bein honest omni man should’ve one shotted him since he had the strength to do it when he’s casually able to bench press states throw meteors the size of texas and pick up a continent sized rock and drop it on an alien after bodying his whole planet with literal ease(the size of the rock could be exaggerated but you get the point) so yeah deathbattle just drew the fight out but it should’ve been a one shot fight in my opinion
As someone who has read both comics, Omniman win just due to durability. Homelander got wrecked by a crowbar. Nolan straight up flew *through* a planet. Homelander cannot take as much damage as Nolan.

Granted he almost died from the amount of mental stress of doing it, but I think that’s his best feat. Nothing grandiose like making a Universe.
The thing about Homelander, is that he’s “a large fish in a small pond”. There’s not much competition in his universe. He can body any other character in his universe (except his secret clone in the comics). So if her were to go up against Omniman, or anyone else in Marvel, DC, or anime, he’d be humbled and dead in minutes.

I think most deathbattles have an arguable counter, but they go off of the most likely outcome. Ben could counter Green Lantern's time travel, but would he have time? Would he expect it? What if we factored in White Lantern powers? If the odds are 51-49, they choose the 51.
One thing that irks me about Death Battle is how they go through the stages of each characters form rather than having them at the last stage, as in their max potential. There’s a sort of DB influenced way the characters go from one stage to another. One example is Ichigo vs Naruto, and Ichigo has grown so much in power in the manga, yet they stopped him at his final Getsuga Tenshou because that was the point he lost his powers. Not even going to Fullbring, or even at the very final stage. Like, seriously. Not all characters are DB, so let them fight at their most powerful.

Dio with his cockiness would toy with Alucard, taking an early head start and would want to gauge how powerful and fast he is. Dio has only been shot at by basic pistols and a shotgun. He'd probably dare Alucard to shoot him in the head, thinking he'll just heal. .454 and 13mm are both more than capable of turning a head into nothing.

If it went by the shows alone Homelander technically has no obvious weakness. While Omniman has been thrown around by powered individuals in his respective show. So if you went into watching the fight without pulling info from the comics it would be understandable why people would think Homelander would win.

I actually thought Dio vs Alucard was a nice surprise. It reinforces the idea that while Alucard might be the strongest thing in his own universe, comparing him to characters from other universes is a different story. Especially with all of the mad shit that Alucard has done in his own universe, which was what made me think he was going to win against Dio. Personally one of my more favorite battles but I can see how some people would dislike it.
Well Dio’s time-stop is pretty over-hyped. Alucard brought himself back after consuming Cheshire. Cheshire volunteered to be consumed because his power is based on disrupting space and time. So a time-stop really isn’t enough to give him a decided advantage against Alucard
They literally used pre schrodingers version because alucard now has conceptual immortality,they also forgot alucard can become intangible detect spirits such as souls blood manipulation which is just physic blood bending and explosive rounds that negates regeneration alucard should have won that fight period

Technically them drawing it out makes since, Omni man takes his time almost every Time we see him fight, besides when he goes up against the agents in the very dark scene that I will now stop mentioning.
Remember Ben 10 vs Green Lantern (honestly don’t get why they were pitted against each other). That was the worst to me. 100% biased. GL is powerful, but Alien X is more powerful and the Omnitrix has failsafes that would have activated once GL tried to so much as remove it from Ben’s wrist let alone kill him.

The Boys uses powers as an allegory for class and wealth. So being powerful more than being strong. Invincible is like it's own universe that uses old comic tropes to tell a grander story with a simpler one at its core. Basically, Homelander is a frat boy in a world where money=superpowers And Omniman has hours of lore videos about him.
They often do battles where the characters abilities "look" similar in some way shape or form. Plus they probably take forever to find out who fights who.

Hal has better defense and counters I only had one person give good arguments for Ben but we concluded that no matter what they shouldn't have been compared and it was better than alot of others and even then he couldn't prove the claim that Ben could somehow win

He's strong but effectively has absolutely 0 combat experience, because Homelander has never been in a fight, he's just killed a lot of people. To take it down to human terms, I'm a big dude, I deadlift 335 for reps, and I'm pretty confident I could take down any number of third graders, but I have no formal training and haven't been in a fight since middle school, so if you put me in the ring with even a shitty UFC fighter, I'm going to get knocked out.
Magneto is an Omega level mutant. To be omega level your powers have to threaten the very planet. Magneto has shown time and time again that he can just disrupt earths entire magnetic pole if he wants.

Alucards army of souls couldn't do anything to DIO, and would littleraly just serve as fuel for DIO and The World far exceeds Alucard's speed and strength. How the hell is Alucard getting by: 1. The ability to stop time. 2. A super fast, super strong stand that he can't touch 3. DIO's fucking ludacris speed. One thing that irks me about Death Battle is how they go through the stages of each characters form rather than having them at the last stage, as in their max potential. There’s a sort of DB influenced way the characters go from one stage to another. One example is Ichigo vs Naruto, and Ichigo has grown so much in power in the manga, yet they stopped him at his final Getsuga Tenshou because that was the point he lost his powers. Not even going to Fullbring, or even at the very final stage. Like, seriously. Not all characters are DB, so let them fight at their most powerful.

Dio, he toys with his enemies, and Alucard, he has superior vampire techniques. Dio with his cockiness would toy with Alucard, taking an early head start and would want to gauge how powerful and fast he is. Dio has only been shot at by basic pistols and a shotgun. He'd probably dare Alucard to shoot him in the head, thinking he'll just heal. .454 and 13mm are both more than capable of turning a head into nothing.

I actually thought Dio vs Alucard was a nice surprise. It reinforces the idea that while Alucard might be the strongest thing in his own universe, comparing him to characters from other universes is a different story. Especially with all of the mad shit that Alucard has done in his own universe, which was what made me think he was going to win against Dio. Personally one of my more favorite battles but I can see how some people would dislike it.
Well Dio’s time-stop is pretty over-hyped. Alucard brought himself back after consuming Cheshire. Cheshire volunteered to be consumed because his power is based on disrupting space and time. So a time-stop really isn’t enough to give him a decided advantage against Alucard

@@rac2300 um yes bro, yes. The only thing Magneto has on Tetsuo is control. But in terms of raw power, he isn't even remotely close. Idk if you watched Akira recently, but Tetsuo and the other children who were part of the experiments he went through were bred to be like Akira. The reason why Akira was so dangerous was because he was a walking connection to God. Tetsuo is way more powerful than Magneto.
@@enochabraham688 first of all, that control is more important than you think. 2nd, Magneto's powers are far more godlike than you realize. EVERYTHING Tetsuo did in that movie, Magneto can do much easier. He can rearrange atoms, he can shut down Tetsuo's brain and nervous function, etc. You're hyperfixated on that "big bang" thing at the end of the movie, but Tetsuo had no control over that whatsoever and his powers were nowhere near that strong up to that point.

As for shutting down a nervous system… who has he done that to who has Tetsuo’s power??? Every time Tetsuo got injured, his power just made up for it so that he would continue to go on. Moreover, even with the lack of control, Magneto could easily get himself killed by throwing Tetsuo into a rage. Magneto is not consistently taking out characters with universal potential. Storm can beat him, and Storm is getting smoked by Tetsuo
@@enochabraham688 yes...he can. Magneto's powers aren't just based on metal. His powers work on the electromagnetic spectrum as a whole. That's how he can manipulate gravity and create wormholes. It's just much easier for him to manipulate metal. Magneto is an omega level mutant meaning there is no limit to his potential. And he controls a fundamental force of reality which is electromagnetism. As for who's brain he shut down, a clone of him killed Phoenix by doing that. Just as an example. And that clone wasn't as powerful as the real dude. Magneto is way more powerful than you think i promise you.

Definitely my favorite death battle, I love it when somebody and fiction says something that's just so fucking epic and then they proceeded to back it up. His first line was I'm going to feed you your own heart. Several times better than the Ben 10 vs Green Lantern fight.
As a patron of Death Battle they do polls on which battles people want to see and the most liked or most frequent request gets picked which leads to some really stupid matchups, during the latest season one of the winners was almost Thor VS Shazam, my personal pick. But instead we got Thor VS Vageta
Ben 10.... That was the end of me watching death Battle because I clicked on it and I was like alien x that's all you need a reality warper versus Green lantern hal Jordan? It's not even close but then they pulled in powers from other Green lanterns and it's like that's not how the power of the Green lantern works.
