Its fine if you want to pay homage to those moments, but if you focus on single images and keyframes, your own tie downs will be less distracting and feel less stilted.

Like in first ever comics where Superman ever fought someone equal like World's Finest Comics #6 or last comics in John Byrne run, or any phantom zone (which in normal comics pretty much Is after life/ghost state just without person actually dying to get there) usage scenarios.
