      You will notice a smooth transition through the gears but the changing of the weights and adding springs to the clutch will give better value.

    I got malossi multivar 2000 with 7.2g rollers. Should i change rollers or not. I have gianelli reverse exhaust. It goes up to 85kmh

      Do the pen test and make sure the belt has full travel. Trial a lighter set but under 6.5 will probably give a loss of pull through the mid range.

    How reliable is the Multivar?? i have a 500cc Piaggio and full Malossi variator+belt+clutch is pretty expensive...

      Malossi variators are extremely reliable and durable. I dont think we have ever encountered a problem with one in over 15 years of installing them.

    I have malossi multivar with white spring and white clutch springs. What weight of rollers you recommend? 50cc, main jet 60, malossi red sponge, yasuni z

    • @scooterstreetau
      @scooterstreetau  Před 3 lety

      What scooter? Generally you'd start with the ones that the Malossi variator came with, and work from there.

      Aprilia SR50, you mean heavier or lighter rollers?

    • @scooterstreetau
      @scooterstreetau  Před 3 lety

      @@andrejceze Test the performance first, and then trial a slightly lighter set of rollers, what difference has it made? Now try a slightly heavier set, again what difference did you experience? Tuning these is all about test and trial. good luck.
