    I owned this kit on my sr50... if u run a white spring with it u can get away with using 3.4-4.2 gram rollers.. on a std minarelli setup.. but if u go to the yellow spring its more like 5-7 gram, wich i would reccomend.. running a red spring is just too much for a normal setup thats 70cc mhr level of spring.. I liked the white spring with the light rollers though..

      We have experience the same with the Minarelli engine, the Red Malossi spring often works fantastically. Thanks for the comment👍

    use the 50cc green spring if u have a 50cc and i guess blue for 70cc.
    wheelie all day and still fast... got me the same kit on a aerox with 50cc 5,3 or 4,8 rollers
    If you try make sure u use NO POWERFILTER.. or you get really timeconsuming on setup.
    and tuner exhaust for 50cc... some exhaust say good for both but you miss pressure with those

    this variator keeps up with the stage6 mkII 70cc Racing?

    I got a 2008 rossi aerox. I wanna spend to get the best 50cc setup possible. Any recommendations?

    • @scooterstreetau
      @scooterstreetau  Před 3 lety +1

      Our honest recommendation would be to install a 70cc kit. You can spend half the amount and get twice the power, compared to building a really fast 50cc.

    Is this good for 4 stroke aswell (2018 model) ???

    • @scooterstreetau
      @scooterstreetau  Před 3 lety

      This one only fit the 2 stroke models. The 4stroke Aerox use Malossi 5113603 but check as you may need the Force Master System to change the injection. This kicked in for 2018..

    Just bought a malossi multivar mhr fúria rossa and came with 3.5g and 3.8g i put them both on my 70cc with 21 carburartor and voca sabotage exhaust and the scooter absolutely screams , looks like its always at max RPM even when it just start rolling forward. Havent check top speed yet but i clearly think those rollers are wayyyyy light. i noticed that previous howner had a white malossi conter spring and my new kit came with a red One. Im still running the white. Whats the Diference between them? Wich is better?

    • @scooterstreetau
      @scooterstreetau  Před rokem +2

      The springs have different tension, check the Malossi website if you have the part umbers, they will have the tension NM.
      The rollers are too light for your setup, use heavier rollers.

    Can I use a standard belt with the overrange variator

    • @scooterstreetau
      @scooterstreetau  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes you can, but you must understand the over range designed belt will optimise the extra diameter on the variator and pulley.

      Yes there is a MHR Variator that will fit the Piaggio engine, It does eliminate the electric start!

      We don't really work of those sort of numbers, we prefer real world testing. Install it on the bike, take it for a ride and see how it feels.
