The prefix for it could be *LAC* for *Lightly Armored Cruiser.*

So I've been somewhat amused for a while now watching you reiterate the history of battleship development. In broad strokes at least. Going from pre-dreadnought-esque armament layouts to dreadnought "all big gun" redundancy. And now you channel Jackie Fisher with a battlecruiser. Eventually, you realize, you will have unarmored missile spam ships, if the trend continues
Trying to beat the Gimle in a more conventional way is a fun challenge I find.
Learned a lot about efficient armor placement, redundancy and aim-spoofing.
Also using volume to support redundancy.
Looking forward to improving my own builds based on already competitive crafts.
Is this like a cross between the Draconia and Titanslang? It certainly looks epic
Awesome ship, very cool with the propellers as propulsion, I did not think one could do that efficiently!
About the tetra surface armour, its a HESH redirect, so hesh spawn fragments in the angle it hitting, this armour could thus make fewer fragments go into the hull :)
I like the art gallery, you should include it on more of your ships. With your tendendency to build things compact, it would give you a reason to build a superstructure.
it's so hilarious seeing the biggest boat ever flying out of the water being a HYDROFOIL.

I have been motivated to make a battle airship
Edit: that is not a front sider but still uses pacs on turrets as main weapon, aiming for 8 - 12 pacs
Also tip for any pac lovers , if your using multiple impact pacs, set them to a 0.1 or 0.2 second stagger so that one or two shred the armor and the remaining hits internals
I greatly enjoy the image of the enormous hydrofoil battleship, particularly with that cool armour texturing from the square corners, and those guns look terrifying. Looking forward to seeing this shoot things and get shot.

I build primarily APS frontsiding airships and after seeing your most wanted for the GT boss craft, I think it'd be really cool to see a titanslang/drakenslang esk airship! Maybe Hellcat MK2? Demonic Kitty? I'm not good with names
borderwise when you want to make it more bouncy use a sine wave connected to the pitch angle of the props

Yeah you've outdone yourself this time. Seems a lot less temperamental than the Titanslang as well. I've never thought of single shot max damage flak volleys to kill clustered cram before either, very clever idea. Nice build!
Man I need to build stupid phat floating death sea ocean god super-battleships but that means I have to get over my hyper-efficient PAC and fast firing low gauge APS railgun frontsiding thrustercraft addiction. Making big dumb doomships sounds fun but for some reason I never get to doing it.

Finally Borderwise using Rail Assist APS! How many metal blocks can your APHE-HEAT pen with 13k of Rail draw?Am curious since I have always been confused by the AC pen metric so I just pump my guns to the max.
Because of that, I made a 457mm 8 meter Rail Assist gun that can pen 20 meters of metal with only an AP head and a single Solid Warhead with the 5 modules being HE (3x), a Frag (I know it's a waste but I just like it having that smidge of Frag at the end), and a Pendepth fuse I set to 11 meters since my shells tend to over pen things. (Am pumping each shot with 47k of Rail draw.)
Should get through about 7-8m of metal. 😁👍

Wedges and beam slopes act as great HEAT-stops and kinetic resistance, yes.

What is a "diff CIWS?"
DIF = Direct Input Feed. It's an advanced cannon that only has ammo inputs on the firing piece and no autoloaders.
CIWS = Close-In Weapon System, which in FtD means a weapon that shoots down incoming projectiles. 👍
