One of the great cons. Dose nothing for the intake system , how could it ? A small amount of hydrogen gas fed into the intake along with air.

Top man, you have proved what I thought when looking into this…
Basically you can’t beat hours of labour, removing it all and good old fashioned elbow grease.(sorry to say)
    As far as cleaners go..
    I use a good TFR(neat) apply..
Let it soak in!! Power wash off..
Repeat several times till your happy..
I’ve got parts back to nearly new looking this way.
    But it takes hours…
Not good financially for the customer but the
    Job is done.
Keep up the good work ❤

The last inlet manifold that I found clogged up with oily carbon (a 2015 Mini) i had to remove the manifold and clean it out with various aerosol solvents and a tooth brush and it was still a bugger to get clean so I'd be amazed and interested if one of these machines could to the job. I did the carbon cleaning on my 320d 230k km and it made a nice improvement. How you did the procedure is not the right way. First of all for €85,- it does a very good job. The engine needed to be running 45 min on stationair idle and the right amount of hydrogen mixture. When you rev the engine you pull most of the hydrogen direct through the engine and it burns away. You want to have the hydrogen gas as long as possible in the intake manifold to settle in the carbon. Only rev a few time between 2000-2500rpm to open the egr valve. After the session you go drive for at least 30 min on normal driving. After a time the engine starts running better and better even after two weeks i feel improvement. Of course this will not make it clean as new but it is worthy and worked for me.

"That is the only one people'd actually be interested in"
People who know how recirculation works also know that any exhaust product (be it co2, methane, or anything) would get cooled back before it may enter the intake manifold.
This is logical, not only for performance reasons, but also that many if not most recent cars have their intake manifold out of plastic (hello BMW!).
Any combustion there would be a fatal error - one that sadly we do see from time to time on videos.

Let's be fair, when we saw inside before the procedure started that thing was caked to death. No amount of Hydrogen gas being lightly flowed through was ever going to remove that!

HHO Carbon cleaning is more of a maintenance for EGR valves as it helps to keep the engine running more efficiently and removes carbon from the hot side of the engine.
Generally most of the carbon oily gunk built up in the egr is from the breather system and exhaust gases baking it on 👍🏽
The proof in the pudding is a test drive of the car after the cleaning. The engine runs smoother - quiter and more responsive on most cars.
Been doing carbon cleaning for around 4 years now never have I said that the processes cleans the egr or DPF actually blocks the DPF slightly due to the soot releases from the engine 😅
I always apply a cleaner for the cold side of the engine which helps with oils and gunk buildup from the breather system. Since using the cleaner it gives much better results 👍🏽
You see a lot of cowboy Carbon cleaners who post pictures of walnut of media blasting intake results 😂
There’s two types or carbon cleaner you just need to find the right one 👍🏽

  • @michaelthomas3646
    @michaelthomas3646 Před 7 měsíci +1

I think the main problem was you were a little over 2300 rpm, a turbo actually spools up somewhere between 2500-3000 rpm, running the car back at idle then it allows things like the dpf to clogg back up due to it being closer to the car thinking it is running around town. it was a little cleaner on the 2nd look, no you shouldn't take it as high as more than 4000 rpm, while does heat up the engine as you know it also increases wear over time, but the more you can turn the engine over moving components in the engine the more chance of clearing the loose dirt on moving parts. personally never tried HHO Hydrogen so only going on my mechanic skills while dated are still relevent. but yeah nothing will actually beat a good clean by hand etc. redex has given me the most success for a car that was pre-igniting because of carbon build-up/cheap petrol, and not harmed using it on a diesel engine, but when it comes to carbon like I said nothing will get it 100% clean no matter what they say on the tin, just reduces the chance of build up over time. and I think your results from this test, and possibly other tests have shown that.

It might well be the case where someone has proven that HHO breaks down carbon and the more shady opportunists have made cheap HHO generators at a huge markup plus misleading marketing to make a quick buck.
The only way I can see this working is if you drive around for 100s/1000s of miles with the generator permanently hooked up and then compare the before and after pictures. So basically this 'idea' has no real real world application in the motor trade whatsoever.

Potassium Hydroxide the key mate for carbon cleaning not Hydrogen or any other rubbish 😅

This is what happens when you don't use the right hydrogen technology just by watching the video the machine is not making the right hydrogen!

  • @aleksandarpetrovic6613

Hm, you are don't know what about you talking and what you doing. HHO gas can't clean inlet manifold, I don't know why you test this? HHO gas can clean combustion chamber and exhaust, and this give you effect in performances, engine working and lifetime (and other parts, EGR valve, turbo, catalisator, and particle filter) If someone claiming that HHO carbon cleaning clean inlet manifold, there are two possibilities: 1- he laying, and 2- he use some chemicals for manifold cleaning (but I'm not sure about results because I have no experience with this).
And just to know, this black HHO machine is very week 😄 Can do something, but need much more time. You need 220V machine, about 2000W minimum. And you put HHO gas hose on wrong way, around hose air enter manifold, after MAF sensor, that's all no good. You need good machine and to testing how was before and after: exhaust gases, injectors parameters, noise, acceleration, power and tork. But those tree last things cant be easy measure because no every time big changes. You must to believe to yourself feeling, and know how to test. Don't test in high rpm, but test in low rpm and big load. Everything you want to know, you can ask me, because I developed this process.

Could have saved a load of time by teaching yourself how hydrogen and carbon react with each other. Browns gas FTW!!!

a low pressure gas cleaning off the hard sediment of a burnt material won't do anything - just like the science classes at school did to you

Why not make a small hydrogen generator and permanently fix it. Find out in you tube. ....your car will be hybrid. Saves fuel.

Only if the hydrogen is made via a solar panel. Otherwise it's using engine power via the alternator to create the hydrogen, negating any supposed fuel economy increase.

That machine doesn't work but that doesn't mean all hydrogen cleaning machines don't work. Plenty of data to show they do work.

It does work, mate ! Trust me ! HHO burns at higher temperature/explosive! Can damage exhaust valves, and you'll notice knocking noise ! It will clean the exhaust system, not the intake ! You've done this video for ,,, 😢 click bait, ,,,
