Even this is indirect injection engine, but still too much carbon buildup on the intake valve building up because, i drive the car aggressively sometime and the oil vapor passing from PCV valve to intake throttle
decarbonize engine with water is the cheapest method, but it only removes light carbon, not a heavy carbon buildup, so steam does removes carbon buildup on piston and intake valve
this is a very common problem with indirect fuel injectors, because the fuel injectors located on top of the piston meaning the fuel injectors no longer washing the intake valves
in this video we will answer (Does water/steam cleanse pistons and intake valve of Direct/Indirect injection engine without REMOVING anything?) and i will show the process of intake valve cleaning without using special tool in another meaning: decarbonizing your engine with water
problems with direct injection engines
1. Rough ruining
2. Hard starting
3. Poor fuel economy
4. Loss of power
5. Misfiring

Nice, straight to the point explanation
Thanks for watching
Thanks Ali for making another great video
Thanks, appreciate that
Be very careful when doing this. He is using actual steam but if you use water you should use a spray bottle and only inject a very small amount of water over time..I did this with a car I used to have and got carried away and put too much water in and it hydrolocked the engine and broke a rod in half and destroyed the engine!
Lol
thanks mate, appreciate the tip.
That's awesome
Yikes.. thnx for the info mate… much love 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Lmaooo
I have just discovered you. I have subscribed and am a fan. Thank you for your genius.
Thanks for watching and supporting
This does work to decarbonize engines. My car had a slight hesitation and a rough idle i sprayed water in a vacuum hose while the engine was at operating temperature and took the car on the highway an hour after letting the carbon soften up. After the long ride on the highway (approx. 30 minutes) my rough idle went away
Thank you bud means alot cheers 😁
You are welcome 🙏🏻
You have a clean engine nice man!
Yea I know, thanks
dunno if anyone gives a shit but if you're bored like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all the new movies on InstaFlixxer. I've been streaming with my girlfriend during the lockdown :)
@Edward Luca yea, been watching on InstaFlixxer for since december myself :)
Nice homie got a jag I6 similar oldschool...does removing rust help?
You are doing great bro
Thanks Ahmad
Good man, well done.
Thanks for the visit
Great video!
Thanks!
What's the effect of steam with regard to catalytic converter
that would be nice test in disel engine. They have much biger problems with "self celaning"
Did you drive the car then floor it for a few seconds after you did the cleaning? The steam looks very innovative because it's preheating the H20 before it gets inside.
Thanks. Please try this on a direct injection engine. Love the end of video music btw
i will, Thank you!
We’re can I get that steam clean white jug and nozzle?
Great video bro
Appreciate it
I wanna try this also on my car… it’s proven to work for sure…
Can you do this directly to intake valves
You didn't have any excessive amount of carbon inside the engine. Did the process improve anything in the end since the engine is relatively clean to start with ?
Rt
Good job
Thanks
The problem is carbon go down into the liner is damages liner pistons
Was this a Direct Injection engine?
this has to be done with a water/meth kit over a period of time to actually see results and probably great for direct ignition
You can use NX5000 - then let it overnight - For sure it work > 80%
do a amsoil powerfoam decarbonise video pls
Good video mate. If you only did 100mls it would be good to see the results of doing the same process slowly but with a litre or two. Do you think it would cause damage if you did that and drove the car for half an hour after finishing the process?
No, I have tried that, it will be just like in winter morning when there is so much humidity and you start the engine and water comes out from the tail pipe
@@AliMECH thanks for the reply. 👍
Dear Sir.
I'm the owner of a VolksWagen,
Polo TDi Car with.,
Turbocharged
Diesel Engine.
Can I, Decarbonise the Diesel Engine in the same fashion
wow how u get an engine such clean
How many cans of carb cleaner u use
I usually use one can, but this time I used the steam,
Dast xosh wasta Ali esta boxaraka basha yan clenaraka?
Supas, cleanaraka zor bashtr bu
Clean angine how often do you clean it? 😊
Thanks, Every month or two
Hmm, maybe a bit longer on the steam?
Mann our 2016 Tucson piston tops and valves were not very good looking atleast the valves weren’t terrible but the piston tops oh man Hyundai what did you do.
What if you put carb cleaner in gas tank.. An idea 🤔.
I dont recommend that, sometimes it jams fuel pump, but I tried that before, my car gained so much power 😅
It will destroy pump line
OMG thats a clean piston LOL
Just remember too much water could damage the catalytic converter, especially if it's a cheap one.👍
jokes on you i sold my catalytic converter
Did you try with vinegar and water
Not really, but I may try and test it out one day
Good way to clean CAT I think.
Combustion of fuel itself generates lots of steam. If that has not cleaned the engine, external steam will not. Also the amount of steam vis a vis amount of air at 2000 RPM would be negligible.
The best method is to blow the head gasket on all 4 cylinders
May Allah bless you my brother
Thanks 🙏🏻🙏🏻
The subject is how to clean the top of piston but you can broken your engine
Because the carbon is go down the block
Liner your engine is blowbuy after a few a day month or year my advise is go to your micchanic heavy pms is the best
And change motor oil normally
Hey, Just wanted to let you know that wasn’t “rust spots” that was dirt from your spark plug recess that fell in the hole because you didn’t blow out the spark plugs before you removed them. So, naturally after you run the engine that dirt would go out the exhaust and wouldn’t be there again. So you have only deceived yourself.
You might be right about that but what about the amount of carbon been removed ? is thats deceive too
It's not rust. Aluminum pistons don't rust. Carbon.
I understood rough spots, not rusty spots... but
Lol! Water in the fuel? Combustion of gasoline produces water...about equal in volume to the volume of fuel produced. Far more than could be dissolved in the fuel!
Yea right, but they dont pass from fuel injection and fuel pump, these electronic parts getting damage, otherwise after combustion, there is no problem
@@AliMECH
You mentioned rust on the piston in relation to water in the fuel. Any water, whether in the fuel or from combustion, should evaporate from that area of a hot engine.
add little water toy your oil and fuel the car will bless you and the car dealership will thank you.
not much knowledge of a 4 stroke engine , water in an engine... not good.
It’s fine in small amounts like steam or even spraying water into the intake as long as you go slow and make sure the engine is hot before starting the process so it can make the water steam as soon as it gets into the cylinders which makes it steam the carbon away.
@@Alexander_l322 I doubt there would be any cleaning , steam or water in cylinder bores is not good advice.
and why would anyone want to steam clean the inside of cylinders and piston crowns , what benefit does this have?
@@Alexander_l322 and in your video you mentioned rust spots on the piston crowns , how does aluminium rust?
And your bore scope doesnt offer much clarity , the before and after vidoes look the same.
@@ll-rb7or you don’t have a clue so stop talking about things you know nothing about!! Also it’s not my video so shut the hell up talking shit, this guy didn’t do the process long enough and use enough water.
Yeah totally, steam clean the oil film on the cylinder walls away... your piston rings will be screaming with joy. Not to mention your engine oil from all the steam blow-by...
This has been done since the 60s its a proven method if experienced

Proven to be a horrible idea
@unknown hinson
The irony of a keyboard warrior calling me an idiot over a method proven to be a terrible idea is hilarious at best. You tried though, good job.
@unknown hinson
Want a backhoe for the hole you’re digging yourself? Unless of course you like hard manual labor.
@unknown hinson They sell shovels at Home Depot. Save your lunch money your mom gives you and get one. Bye
now you are using steam to clean the valves,, first you tested water brake cleaner, and something else in 3 glass jars.. now this.. ???? i am a tech there are no shortcut in cleaning D.I./ intake valves..none.. what you next video on? cleaning intake valves with olive oil? ouija board?
