A scam I hate is maternity for 3 months. My Lord! Maternity leave should be 6 or 9 months. Aki going back to work with a 3 month old or 4 months(if you're employer allows you leave days) is so devastating.
A year would be fine. We were discussing this with a friend and we came to the conclusion that as women, we are not yet free. In cases of complications, six months ain't enough sometimes.

Going everywhere with your phone. Lunch,dinner,toilet, .... literally everywhere. I get some of us are using our phones for business. But unless you are like some specialist neurologist or cardiologist don't see why we can't leave the phone behind sometimes.
When it comes to over consumption, I am so glad I came to terms with the fact that these things are not going anywhere. More and more will be invented, and we will still want the new after new after new.
When I tell people my husband has more clothes than me, they get shocked. I have 4 purses and very few pairs of shoes according to American standards. In fact I recently bought a new pair of flats for the summer because I had only one pair.
I used to be a product junkie until I sat down with myself and said enough is enough. I cleared everything and decided that I use one face wash until it's done, and then I buy another one. One lotion at a time. This change of over consumption gave me so much peace.
I think the reason why apple stopped putting charger heads in the boxes with the new phones is because sometimes people tend to upgrade their phones but when the charger is still fine and functioning. Considering the amount of materials and energy that goes into making them, I think it was a more eco sustainable approach.

This is the reason why I always think it's important to manage our awareness. Where your awareness goes, energy will flow and eventually you will feel the need to buy things you don't need. For products like Gucci and LV, you're buying the brand, the class, and the status it gives you to say and use their products. That's why their marketing is sooo good and they'll spend heavily on it. You're just paying for the name not necessarily the quality and style.
