    Right on. Cass will notice a difference in the thick mud for sure.
    Only difference in my clutch is I'm running the white secondary, and my cam plate has been cut and re-welded for more low and top end. Other than that I'm running the same weights in my primary. Oh and I have the wet clutch springs installed as well from EPI.

    Thanks for the informative vid! Going with the same kit from epi for my grizzly. Did you change the internal clutch housing gasket? They recommended mine be changed? Should be getting to the project in the next couple of weeks. Thanks again!

    Ya belts last forever on the Yamaha’s it’s the wet clutch’s that takes a beating if not slugged for more clamping Force

    I have similar set up, elka stage 3 , epi clutch kit "purple spring" , 27in still outback max , wondering if you've been having problems with diff seals going ?

      We've only had to replace them once, but with the amount of riding we do it's to be expected. So nothing out the norm.

    On my old 07 660 Rhino even before lifting it I went through several stock belts and after I lifted it I changed weights and had to go to a HighLifter belt because I pinched one belt almost totally into. But since going to the HighLifter belt I've only gone through about 2

      you are the only person out of thousands on the forums, dealers, and friends, that ive ever heard have problem with oem, and first to have better luck with aftermarket

      My clutches are both stock, my belt is after market. My clutches are super strong, I never had a problem with them turning over my 29.5 s/w OutLaw og tires even in clay they were gripping so tight they crushed the one grade up HighLifter belt, I had to go to the HighLifter Pro belt

      Jason, I didn’t do anything to the cvt When I showed the HighLifter staff the belt that is a step below the HighLfter Pro belt they didn’t have a clue of how it happened. They said never had they seen or heard of it without a cvt upgrade. But like I said I put the Pro belt on it and was great until I destroyed my transmission case

    I'm planning to do the same snorkels and rad relocate to my wheeler this coming month. Any tips you could give or hindsight you would've done differently? That thing rips man I'm pumped to get mine lifted with some new shoes and hammer the mud! Keep up the videos. New subscriber here!

      Take your time. Build it, dry fit it and then tear it down and do it again with silicon.

    I was really interested in a BF Clutch but his reputation got really bad on Facebook. I haven't looked lately to see if it's improved, but I'll check it out.

      around $200 for mill work, and $50ish for weights. I paid $8 for a 0.5mm & 1.0mm shim, and $40 for purple spring.

      Jason Gray I’m 6’ 4” 210 and the can am fits me better if that helps, but I’m not a fan of the feel of the yamahas myself the bars are too low and my knees are above the tank but if I were you I would go sit on both and if the dealer will let you I’d try both around.

      I dont believe they did. But the wet slugs kit can cause premature wear on the wet clutch as well. Usually just swapping the springs out is enough for the Yamaha's.

      @@chadnsummercollins5372 slugs are better for the wet clutch.the stall springs will cause premature wear.

      @@alextm33 Yes sorry you are correct. Early morning post and just getting off shift.
      Springs increase the stall. Where as the wet slug kit is opposite of that.

    I was wondering have you guys ever come across a mud hole that the Can-Am makes it through but the Yamaha doesn't? Because a lot of people in the ATV world believe that more horsepower and more torque is better in the mud but when you look at Truck World unless you're talking about a 1200 horsepower mud rail it's kind of the complete opposite. Example Jeep never put anything bigger than a 6 cylinder in their vehicles and Toyotas R22 4 cylinder it's kind of unbeatable

      Al Dyson I have just 2 weeks ago it was a Kawasaki 750 and 3 canams a 470 I belive and the other 2 were bigger cc for sure like in the 700 in up class and a Polaris 570 and a Polaris 1000 I had a Yamaha bruin 350 4x4 we didn't do straight mud bog we did everything mud hills creeks you name it I did better then all of them they are to heavy and I feel they have alot HP and enough tq mine weights 500 stock I look there's up how much they weight the Kawasaki 750cc weight 750 and the canam and that Polaris 1000ccwas at 800 pounds that's 300 pounds heavier then mine that's a big difference that's more then 1 1/2 I weight 180 plus my ATV that's 500 so 680 there were like 800 plus 180 that's 980 300 pounds more

      @@williamherrington491 clutch kit made a big difference originally had put 28 inch Outlaw 2s quickly realized 29.5 outlaw2 would be no problem.the hmf exhaust and tuner helped alot too.
