Former in n out employee... trust me get whole grilled onions!! It's life changing. Also that's way too much mustard. We actually use a spiral on the grill and then throw the patty on top. Another fun fact: the cheese is folded about a 1/4-1/2 inch so that you get that characteristic "smile" when it's on the burger. Lettuce is not cut in triangles I've torn up hundreds of heads of lettuce lol we actually take about a palm sized amount and crunch it up against our palms so it gets a flat top that the burger can rest on. Okay enough fun facts just trying to say that ino is FAR superior to shake shack without a doubt don't @ me

I made the burger as well for the fam bam, no joke I would rather eat this then go to either chain and I live in AZ which actually has both restaurants....80/20 or 75/25 ground beef, caramelized onions, sauce, pickle chips and american cheese and whatever other toppings. And mustard grilling the patty changed my life forever haha 😂 subbed the relish in the sauce for pickled jalapeños. You can use whatever cheese but I personally prefer american cheese on any smash style burger, it kinda becomes this delicious glue that holds it all together.

Hey just wanted to mention that In-N-Out puts mustard on the griddle and then adds the meat on top. Try this at home and you will smell In-N-Out in your home. Thanks for the videos

I get it without pickles, because pickle juice is just too strong a flavor compared to the rest of the ingredients. Others, might get it without the onions... *Either way, it's a no-cost option. So, why skip it?*
I used to live in cali, born and raised there... I live in missouri now. You can't imagine how much I miss in and out... I'm going to try to make these burgers.

As a Californian who just moved to the East coast, I really think it's a culture thing. In-n-out is part of my home state where my childhood and family are. It's more than just a burger at this point. Also the price you pay for the quality is wonderful.
in n out is a cornerstone of every californian's memories of home, friends, and family. countless dates, days after school, summer nights, etc. spent there. It's only a bonus that the burgers and shakes are awesome too.

Out of all the 300+ stores there are, the store I used to work at was usually around 8-9 in the company in terms of burger sales, depending on the week. The store in Hollywood ca off sunset is usually the busiest in the company
its at least a 30 minute wait for drive thru at the location near my house. place is packed at night around especially around midnight.

I love this! My first job in high school was at In N Out for two years. For my shift meal I would always eat a double double with a whole grilled onion, chopped chilies, and an extra toasted bun. You guys did a great job!

I love this show 1) because it's entertaining but also and mostly because 2) it's intelligent and educational. They aren't just "chewing the fat" and sharing their opinion about the food but instead having an intelligent conversation around it and explaining their thoughts.
