- It's no secret I use TOOL MOD a lot in my builds. Here's an in-depth tutorial on the most common ways I use this amazing mod. This is definitely more for intermediate to advanced builders, but for beginners who want to step up their build skills, make sure you give TOOL Mod a go!

Hey Megg, great tutorial! A few quick notes:
Objects have "bones" called rigs, but some don't. If they don't, they can't be rotated on the other 2 axes. Nothing we can do other than wish EA hadn't made them that way.
Alt+shift click will clone any objects you have selected.
Sometimes people, including me, get into a rut of using gravity pull (alt click) way too much, a tip I recommend is to regular click as close as you can to where you want it, then do the gravity pull for the last few adjustments. Saves your mouse button 😉
Also just in case you haven't figured it out yet, you can alt+click other objects to add them to the group, and the rotate around center option allows you to rotate the group as if they were one object.

Do you have any advice, my tool mod is not showing up. Shift + T isnt pulling it up
i was struggling so much with figuring out this mod and i was about the remove it from my mods folder when your video showed up on my feed. now i can't wait to get in game and use it and play around! your video helped me understand this mod so easily! thank you!!
I just started using this mod a couple of days ago and I'm loving it! But it only works for me when the game is in live mode. Doing "shift + T" does nothing 🤷🏼♀️

personally I haven't noticed my game being slow with TOOL Mod, I think my game gets slowed down by CC hahah

Hey Megan everything works but the rotate I am trying to rotate rocks to fit somewhere and I can't get this one thing to work. Ahhhhh what am I doing wrong I have watched video after video please help😢

I don't get it cuz every single time I try to use tool, I'll select my object, click move or rotate or whatever, put in the number, hot okay, then the object is gone. Happens every single time, to every single object. And it does it whether I move something .1 or 100...I don't know how to fix this...
Would this completely replace the need for the OSMP red shelf? I can’t ever get that to work for me. Trying to think
if there’s something that it might do that TOOL wouldn’t.
You could definitely get away with only TOOL. My other clutter tutorial covers the red shelf mod!
HEYYYY I know this video is kind of old-ish, but I just recently found about the mod and I haven't seen anyone else mention this, but I put the mod how it was instructed to in my mods folder and then I open the game, then it does the usual loading screen and when it's supposed to show the main menu screen, it's just a white screen with the music in the background and I cannot close the game- it only fixes after I remove the mod. Any recommendations ??
When did you download the mod? It was recently updated with the new expansion pack so make sure you have the latest version!
I'm having a issue with it working in build mode it works on everything else besides build mode, and I do have the better build mode mod in my game so I'm confused why it doesn't pop up on my screen when I press Shift + T
I've heard from Mac users before that they had this issue but I'm not sure if it's been fixed sorry! Make sure both BBB and TOOL are up to date as well x
when i try to upload builds that use the tool mod it says that cc was used on the build when it wasnt. do you know how to fix that?
I think there's a "modded" box you can untick when you upload to the gallery?

So my dumb question will be… by using tool mode I am able to create a building that has let’s say 5 stories instead of the maxmum 4?
Not a dumb question! But no, you can't build beyond 4 stories with TOOL mod.

It's a separate mod you need to download and install but it works with only base game
