      To be fair Luke's academy in legends understood that not all Jedi are able to use the force as well as some but had talents elsewhere. So they were still jedi, called jedi, but performed different duties that suited their strengths without being stripped.

    I'd say the agricultural corps was the most important. From what the video said, they fed much of the galaxy. Additionally, they were the best view non-force users of the galaxy had of The Jedi since the Corps was composed of both force users and non-force users. It's a shame that the force-sensitive members of the corps allowed their own pride to blind them (and later Luke) to the humble importance of the corps.

      Becoming a Jedi master/Knight mustn't have been the be all and end all for them, they were probably satisfied to be part of the Jedi cause, and the motivation to rise above themselves when the empire took over, would leave a few interesting plot lines..

  • @WardenWolf
    @WardenWolf Před 2 lety +25

    One reason for these corps was because the Jedi still needed to keep an eye on their failed pupils. They couldn't simply cut a fully trained Padawan loose and expect them to not get into trouble, particularly since many, at least at first, had something of a grudge. It's not mentioned, but I also suspect they may have also cut some failed Padawans off from the Force to prevent them from becoming a threat.

    if i failed the trials I'd opt to exile myself to the farthest star before hitting the unknown regions, sit, meditate daily, eat, sleep, meditate more, sometimes help others....but i'd choose to help a single planet and make an influence there
    it would not be out of pride, eww well if they won't have me....nothing like that, it's just at that point I'd rather go my own way and separate myself from the action of the galaxy

    I have 3 fields of the force idd focus on the most healing and revitalization abilities heal wounds and sicknesses and to almost never run out of stamina in the force 2nd is learning offensive force abilities so strong almost no one can match to protect my Allie’s and myself and 3rd is the most powerful and useful defensive force powers so no attack on me would stand much of a chance. I would also learn abilities in the force to hide myself cloaking and suppression abilities for both me and any Allie’s of mine again obviously and if possible the ability to temporarily grant force powers to someone even if they aren’t force sensitive and potentially lasting indefinitely if again possible idd love to have that. If I had powers idd bring peace freedom and a new level of safty for everyone and eternal prison or worse for those whom would go against freedom and liberty

    Let’s just, for a moment. Please bare with me.
    We forget that the latest Trilogy ever happened, and we move to “Stars Wars, The unknown regions” and it’s about the old republic scout ship that have set up anew in the unknown regions. It can have literally any plot, and they could bring back Mace windu if they pleased (It’d be better than what we got now).
    It could make so much sense, they could even hint to it during the Kenobi series.

    the thing i dont understand. is when in the first couple movies, (not the original trilogy). they say that anikan is the chosen one, and would bring balance to the force, but they also say. that the sith were wiped out. ..... now I'm no space wizard... but if said child was in the premolition of bringing balance to the force, and I believed the darkside was wiped out. I'm pretty sure I would of executed anakin as a child.
