There was a scene in Ep 11 (BB s2e11) where the clone commandos were tasked with rounding up civilians... as the commandos left the landing craft, one clone lowered his weapon... showing less enthusiasm for the task. This scene suggests the Clone Commandos are going to get more depth of character in the coming stories ...
As a real world analogy the Clone Commandos offer an example of the dilemma every soldier faces when they are confronted with political decisions that conflict with their personal moral codes. Professionalism and loyalty to colleagues are a strong incentive to continue to carry out a bad policy even when the broader ideology cross your own red lines.

Corsshair said at the end of season 1 that part of the reason he stayed with the empire was because of the bad batches decision early on at komino to leave him behind instead of capturing him and removing his chip like they did for themselves. He felt betrayed and chose to stay with the empire of his own free will, even having his chip removed shortly after being left on komino at the start of season 1.

  • @anderariastamayo5003

Crosshair himself said why he was sticking with the empire, because being a soldier is the only life he knew and didn't like the idea of simply wander the galaxy aimlessly in order to find something to do. This is true for many real life retired soldiers who have a lot of trouble returning to civilian life because they're too used to the army's strict heirarchy and intense discipline.
Crosshair was okay with the empire as long as they allowed him to do what he did all his life and didn't think much about anything else. Of course, he then found the hard way that there are many more differences between a democracy and a fascist regime beyond people simply not being allowed to vote.

I am not so sure there will ever be a MASS clone revolt. As we've seen, the empire seemed to leave a number of clones alone on outer colonies by the time of Star Wars: Rebels. I don't think the Empire would have just let them go after some attempted insurrection or defection. They would have hunted down every last clone, and an entire generation of bounty hunters would have cut their teeth on Jango Clones. I think there will just be a small-scale incident lead by Rex and Echo, which Palpatine will play to his advantage to treat all clones even worse. First, unrelated to the video, someone better pick up that phone because I called it, sort of. lol. On last weeks video I said the Empire wouldn't be invading Pabu, instead, the Bad Batch would get a call from Rex or Echo, or hear about Crosshair or some other Clone friend in trouble and would be forced to leave the planet and get back into the fight.
Also, I was hoping to maybe see Delta Squad in this show, but given how blindly loyal most Commandos are, I'd rather not see them show up so that the Bad Batch and the rest of the good Clones are less badass to worry about while fighting the Empire.

And I think a lot of the explanation for differences in behavior with the clones, is that they are all still different. They may be near identical replicas, but I’m sure every clone has some personality thing that wasn’t genetically coded, I think that explains the names too, if they were all perfect clones I’m not sure there’d be a need in their mind to differentiate themselves. • @derrickj45

I feel like if there is going to be a clone rebellion, there is going to be a big twist we the clone commandos. We know that when Gregor first appeared in the Bad Batch series, he mentions that all the commandos that were gathered to train the new TK troopers they hated them and made that they received they worst training possible. Seeing Scorch is in charge of all the clone commandos, from what we have seen so far, we have yet to see Boss, Fixer, and Sev and I have a feeling that the status of Delta Squad could play a big role in this series. Lastly Captain Rex mentioned that he had clone contacts within the empire to help them hit transports carrying clone prisoners and I bet that Scorch is his clone contact. Scorch would be in best position to provide such information and him being seen so far as the second in command on mount Tantus. As big clone commando fan it hurts seeing my commando brothers doing the empire's dirty work but seeing the clues in the episodes so far, I feel like the Scorch and the other clone commandos are going to play a huge role in the show's plot.

Not sure why I have an odd about this, but the Idea of the Clone Commandos being the Template of the Death Troopers role fits oddly well.
I mean, the Death Troopers were organised to protect High Ranking Imperial Personals (mostly those from the Research & Development Department), and the Clone Commandos in the Bad Batch so far are doing the similar job, minus the whole training the TK/Imperial Stometroopers. Granted we don't really know if there were any Clone Troopers that are training the TK/Imperial Stometroopers, since they are supposed to be the successors of the Clone Army and all that.

But, this is Disney, so I guess the discussion point is "Why is the Empire guarding prisons and Labs with the top 1 percent of the top 1 percent of the top 1 percent of special forces personnel?" That only breeds more plot holes.
Maybe it's because they've recognized that they killed the Golden Goose and are using recognizable templates rather than paying artists to create a new model for security guards. Why waste more money before the fireball hits the ground? Just a guess.

Imo I prefer this route its more realistic to their training. But would love to see that one commando who had a baby with the jedi to further prove this point that they could have been saved but were past that point already if you weren't in their lives.

Yeah that discreption was weird as Nulls were a whole different and very scary beast. Legends commandos differed primarily in that the Cuy'Val Dar trained them directly which also imparted the trainer's characteristics on to them somewhat, while the troopers were mainly flash trained. Genetically they were basically the same except Troopers were designed to be more loyal to the command structure while Commando's were far more independent. Arcs were almost pure Jango and trained by him directly, whereas the Nulls were basically how do we make Jango better and you get stronger, faster, eidetic memory having, super scary smart clones with no loyalty to any one but papa Skirata.

Not even accounting for electric cars, but to accommodate everyone going to heat pumps you will need to more than triple your electrical grid's capacity and generation. Heat pumps barely even work if you have winters that go into the -20 C range. The best will shut themselves off around -22 and stay off until their defrost function thaws them out, and here in Canada people are told to use them as a secondary heat source.
Not to mention that they double as air conditioners in the summer, so the drain on the grid is not going to decrease in warmer weather, as more people will have them.

Even their armor, in the last episode one commando got one shotted! Thats such a slap in the face of every commando fan. While i enjoyed like 90% of the 2nd season i was extremly disappointed how they displayed the commandos. In CW they used footage of actual elite soldiers for the commando droids, and they really felt like they were special units but in the bad batch however clone commandos just feel like bulkier clone troopers with the skill of a rookie. I loved everything about commandos since i first played the game and even more after the books, this was since when i was 9 years old, im now 27 and i was really enthusiastic when i saw that they are now actual canon. But then it turns out like this and its saddening to watch my childhood heros get displayed like this. Im not talking about defecting just about how their skills and equipment are displayed. Now im not so sure if i even want another game.. Not if these people make it.
