      Thank you! You can try adjusting the ratio of icing sugar but in my past attempts it could affect the consistency of the overall batter so I'd suggest reducing the sugar a little bit at a time.

      Thank you! I usually keep them at room temperature in an air tight container since my family finished them pretty fast, but you can also store them in the fridge. The filling would just harden up compared to keeping them at room temperature.

    Hiii may I ask what you would do with spare mixture when you pipe it onto the tray like how to store it so that you could still use it?

      Do you mean the macaron batter? If so, you should just pipe another tray and bake it off all at once because I don't believe you can store it for later use.

      Yes! Ive made it with a few different kinds of flour substitutes. I even tried sunflower seed flour, and it worked!! I substituted it with a 1:1 ratio. I hope this helps!!☺️

    Is the ration correct?! I’ve tried soooooo many recipes on CZcams and sadly to say none of the ratios in every video are correct I feel they dishonest they don’t share the correct ration when it’s come to macrons it’s so frustrated.

      Hi Diana! This recipe has been tested many times and it has worked great for me for many years. When it comes to macarons, the recipe itself is important but so is the technique. If not more so. There isn't an "incorrect ratio" for any recipe really as long as it achieves the desirable product, but please keep in mind there are other factors that contribute to the end result as well. I would recommend looking into some trouble shooting videos for macarons or perhaps checking out my beginners guide to macarons to understand more of the fundamental techniques. Hope this helps!

    Hi, I only have liquid based food colouring, will this recipe work well still?

      For the macarons, try to use as little as possible because too much liquid will mess up the consistency. For the painting, I've never tried doing it with liquid food colouring, but if you work quickly and paint on a light layer it should be fine.
