- Hello! I have to begin with a statement: I am not at all a beginer in car detailing.
This is my first experience with this product and it sucks!
I applied it as recommended.
I am not the only one reporting problems with CarPro Reload. There are many, many people reporting the same thing on Autogeek and Autopia forums.
Interesting... I live en Denmark (Scndinivia) and I can not recognize this problem. We have cold Winter and very salty roads. When I apply Carpro Reload to my car it sticks on there for minimun 3 months. and it keeps on beading perfectly. Buut I have found out that it is very important to wash the car well and rub it over with some kind of alkohol. I use Carpro erase. (And yes I use the product on it's own, with no coating)
It didn't adhere properly. Claying and decontamination is important before using a lsp.
If the product worked on other parts of the car and not on a specific area, I would suspect application miss or paint condition or prep fault in that patch? But totally understand the frustration 👍
Decontaminate, Clay and reset. Machine compound and polish if needed. 2 x coats of Quartz UK and then 1 x coat of SIC is the ultimate if you have the time. Carpro is one of the best ceramic coatings in the world.
You have not tried Koch Chemie ceramic coating…
"Not a beginnger" yet you let hose drag across paint as you wash....ok...
The only reason its not sheeting off is because the bottom half is dirty from road grime and is sticking to the dirt...if you wash your whole car with a micro fiber mitt and then test that area it will sheet right off....mine always does this till I throughly wash the lower panels with carpro reset
Obrigado por compartilhar sua experiência com o Carpro Reload. Uma dúvida: seu veículo tem algum tipo de revestimento cerâmico ou apenas o Reload? Grato pela atenção.

I've had the same experience as you and yes the manufacturer did state it can be used on bare paint. The problem I had is with rain. It didn't seem to hold up well to heavy rain showers. Beading on the hood and roof were gone completely just after a few downpours. There are far better products out there that cost less. Products that go on just as easily and can be applied to bare paint. I switched to V07 and is very happy. Rain has no noticeable effect on it. This product was an expensive disappointment.
It’s sheeting nice! But there should be tighter beads that just fall off quickly! When I used reload I detailed my car in the morning and let it sit out in the sun to cure! And usually when I apply a sealant or wax i make sure no rain for atleast 2 days after its applied
All of CarPro products are made in south korea the same place that makes 99% of all these types of sealants and ceramic coatings never had any issues with this product or company sorry but this is user error. First step is to use Iron X and Tar X then use an Alcohol water 50/50 mixture to completely strip all contaminants then after all that you might as well put a ceramic coating on it then Reload for best results.
DustinCorvetteZr1 I did it again, four days ago on my other car. This time I first used an acid cleaner, then a basic one and than a neutral one. I will come back with a new video.
The thing with ceramic coating is out of dicussion because I'm using this product as a car paint sealant.
I have a feeling you totally forgot to do the bottom half of the car. Reload will last 6 months on its own. Its used as a topper for ceramic sealants
He washed it in drive through car wash and those have traffic film remover it removes wax sealant ect. Normal car shampoos do not
You should have a ceramic coating before using reload.
If you apply this to bare paint and expect it to protect your vehicle, you’re out of your damn mind.
ESVignettes Funny that you are so aggressive yet you do not know mutch about this product. Allow me to quote the producers: "can be used on any paint, rubber, plastic & glass too".
Funny that you use a product that is meant to be used on top of an existing coating but fail to use it on an existing coating... "Originally formulated to maintain the protection and finish quality of CQuartz coatings" - From their website.
Yes, it can be used as a stand alone but that is NOT the purpose of this product. Just like you can use jello to make a house but it's meant to be eaten.
Did you notice how in some places it actually does what you wanted and some it doesn't? That is because your application of the product was improper.
ESVignettes well it probably is like Viagra. Originally formulated fot heart disease but in the end it works better for impotence.
If this sticks to the ceramic coating than is surely sticks to the clearcoat.
And how would you know if this product is still on your ceramic coating after a week or so? The ceramic coating itself is very hydrophobic and glossy...
@Lungu Reload is most properly used on it's own vs a coating after you polish and seal the car with CarPro Essence. I have never used Reload on paint without using Essence first but I would imagine it won't likely perform nearly as well if so thus like your example shows, causing the road grime/film to stick.
ms3er not true at all. Carpro even states themselves it can be used on bare paint in replacement of wax and regular sealants. It can also be used on glass and plastic.
It's a top up spray you need to do the cquartz uk and then use the reload
No, you don't! It say in the product description!
Lungu Gabriel your too tight to actually buy the proper sealant to do the job you actually want the other product to do. Don't be a dick buy the cquartz pack which comes with a small bottle of the reload. The effects of this product is amazing and lasts over a year. Just because you don't know how to use the car pro products how they are supposed to be used doesn't mean they don't work.
I keep on wondering what would it be like if I applied it on top of my wax?!?! I ha e the actual ceramic coating uk cq quartz but I’m just too much of a chicken and I’m scared to apply it so I applied wax after I buffed and polished my paint lol I wonder if I could now just use the reload on it 😭someone please give me a go or video showing someone else doing such experiment
You wouldn’t put a sealant over wax as the solvents would strip the wax. Best to decontaminate fully then use a sealant. Then give it an hour or so and wax over the sealant if you must.
Reload isnt a sealant, it's a ceramic coating top up - you are mad if you think its a sealant
Then why does the bottle say "sealant " lol. On the bottle says it can be used as a "stand alone sealant". Do your homework before u make such claims. Just made yourself look like a dumbass instead. Lol
Reload has also proven itself as a stand-alone sealant, where it can offer up to 4 months of protection on daily drivers.

No, dude...
Try Adam’s ceramic boost
If the soap you washed it with has traffic film remover in it itl strip any sealant away... not just car pro reload any sealant you apply will be the same
It was only water for the first rinse. No detergent first.
Lungu Gabriel damn there must be something wrong even a wax should have survived much much longer. Check the use by date in the bottle it should be out if date as far as i can assure ???!
Lungu Gabriel or bro i think you have to have a ceramic coat for this to bond on do some research there something bit right
@@statisticsspeakforitself4205 it may be so but they say that it can be applied on any surface. Then if I have to apply waxes or something like this on top of a ceramic coating....what is the purpose of the ceramic coating?
Lungu Gabriel its basically the same silica whatever its called but in higher concentrate. The reload is just a new coat ontop to keep it from not wearing off. The reload is silica 5% the ceramic is higher concentrate but its the same thing
thanks for your review this is disappointing.
Don't use it on bare paint. Use it on older CQuartz coated cars to "reload" the older coating.
Your crazy, it's beading like crazy!
JohnRocker340 yes, it does but not on the lower part of the door and behind the rear wheel. Other than this it is an amazing product!
