That 5000 grit test panel is brilliant.. Perfect way to keep the simulated deterioration even and fair for testing, and really showcases what these products can do at extremes. 👍👌✌
I bought the whole carpro line up for my personal vehicles. I haven't used them yet, but at least now I know how to use this stuff. Thanks for the tip. I feel like all products will streak if too much is used.
I use it and love the shine. Living on the West Coast , I usually apply it every month and apply Reload every 6 months. The red car really pops and the dark blue color looks so deep. Really enjoy your videos. I have learned so much. Happy New Year Brian
This is a great product ✊You have to be careful this time of year. The pollen dust and debris from landscapers are covering cars daily😲I almost made the mistake of just using a waffle weave towel with a quick detail. I did it once instead of waterless wash. The roof of my car was covered in Love marks.✊
Brian I would like to personally congratulate you for reaching 30K subs! Way to go and keep up the stellar videos. 100k subs will be the next time I congratulate you.
Love elixir for slickness and darkening effect. This is top on both around 30 products i tested. It can also hide minor imperfections but have products doing this better
I know this is old but need a VS Adams CS3.. i tried on trunk of my Audi. Its opti coated with Opti seal on it. Wasn’t sure it would play nice ... holy crap. Stuff is AWESOME. Left a super slick surface.. like it was waxed. Blows away Beadmaker which im a fan of. Need to try as a drying aid.
Thank you for this video. Just got this product and can’t wait to give it a try. I usually wash my car once a week, how many times is a good average to be using this product ? Once a week, once a month?...
great review! for cars without coatings, the effect will be? I wash my car once a week, how often to use this product? how long does it last? thanks for the answer)
Great vid Brian, I don’t use any quick detailer for now cause I use Perl on every plastic trim and tire shine. But after seeing this, I would consider to buy it cause I can do more stuff with it.
Turtle Wax ice, Spray wax is my go to on my 2019 Harley, $7.99 at Walmart, it does exactly the same as this stuff. But you’re right, the market is saturated it’s all about whatever makes you feel warm and fuzzy. 👍
Felix F Puzzled??, about ICE ,?why Puzzled, it’s it’s a good, tested product, it’s cheap, and it works just as good as anything out there. I tend not to be a gullible slave to marketing Hype. 🙄🙄
I didn't think it was very good at all, and in a whole different world than a Reload/ECH2O solution. As long as you're happy.... Out of sheer curiosity, how do you know it's "as good as anything out there?"
another great video again buddy. like pricy when u can make 9 gallons of it with uber rinseless wash and hydrosilix or dcp armor. still car pro is amazing product line. 👍👍🍻🍻
Hey Brian, I had a thought. People are complaining that DPC armor doesn't bead very well, so I was thinking. What would happen if you mixed two ounces of undiluted DPC Armor and two ounces of CarPro Reload in a bottle with each other , and then sprayed it on a test panel to see what would happen? Maybe a fun experiment for you to try?
@@jackwhite2658 100% agree with you my friend. I just wanted to ask Brian if he could do this for the people who like both the CarPro Reload beads and DPC Armors abilitys and see if we can combine them. Because DPC Armor is durable and very resistant to chemicals.
In which method does the product last longer? Spraying on dry panel is so streaky but using as drying aid gave me better look, is also streak free and much more easy. Any durabilty difference between those methods?
This question has nothing to do with this newest video. My question is what you think about boars hair car brushes( like the original Montana ) used to wash cars? Will it scratch, swirl the paint? I value your judgment. Have you ever considered a review ? Love your channel and how critical you are on the products you use. Take care.
I would use them around emblems, trim, corners and hard to reach places. But would avoid painted surfaces as much as possible. I would be happy to review them.
Excellent video as always. I was just about to order some yesterday before seeing this. Looks like it's pretty good. Any thoughts on using this with Mckees 37 si02 paint coating?
I coated a single door yesterday with a layer of elixir used a scangrip colour match light noticed oily residue from exlixir. Could anyone explain why ALL carpro maintenace products leave an oily residue.....
Hey Brian!! One of the best review that i have watched so far. I would like to ask a question and your answer means a lot to me. Despite how little product i spray on a towel, it smears like an oily surface. Would you recomment me to dillute it like 1:1?
Wait u can use elixir on windows and plastic? What about reload? I had carpro ceramic done 3 weeks ago. Ive been using elixir to wipe down nothing else so far going to do a wash in 3 weeks with reset and top with reload. Does that seem correct?
I've had my bottle of Elixir for a little over a year. I noticed some settling on the bottom of the bottle that wouldn't mix into solution no matter how much I shake. I opened bottle and there's gummy type stuff on the sprayer straw. Anyone else have this issue?
Looking to use Elixir on a ceramic coated (Opti-Coat Pro Plus) vehicle. Have been using EcH2o diluted w/distilled as my QD. How often should I use Elixir as a QD in the mix with EcH2o? Thanks for your expertise!
@@apexdetail85 Brian...Thank You for taking the time to answer. That's a big reason I never feel like I'm wasting my time on your channel. If I have a specific question about a product's use or how it stacks up against another, I know more often than not I'll get a reply. That is HUGE and one of the reasons why you stand out from most of the other professional detailers. Thanks again!
I would appreciate more of a comparison between this and other similar products. Such as, for example its gloss enhancement vs Reload or Sonax BSD in the same area.
Great video as always! Interesting product I haven't considered. I typically use BSD for a quick detailer (quick sealant : ) and suspect it might be more durable but curious how gloss and filling compares between them. What are your thoughts since you use both?
The market is saturated with these types of products....Have you found YOUR favorite in the sea of quick detailers?
Apex Detail I love using Wolfgang mixed 1 oz to 32. Works great!
Sonax BSD.
Polish Angel Forever. I'm car enthusiast, not a detailer therefore a bit more expensive won't bankrupt me. The results tho., are insane.
CG v07 as drying aid
Gyeon wet coat monthly
Chemical Guys VO7 spray as drying aid is amazing, with Meguiars fast finish afterwards is a powerful combo.
That test with 5,000 grit is awesome to see the gloss it gives!

I was at first as well.

This has quickly become my go to... ive tried a few and still find myself coming back to the CarPro line... Reload, EliXir and Ech2o...
I have a large number of their products in my starting lineup.
Just ordered this, very good demonstration
Carpro products always are good performance and price. A great choice by anyone.
I cant argue that....good stuff.👍

Cool video mate.
Was mixing my own before, now use this, even on the door jams, it makes everything so glossy. CarPro makes great products.
I completely agree...good stuff👍

XxVendetaxX1 Armor is a sheeter and that's what I like about it. Get the water off quickly. I'll take sheeting over beading any day. 🖐

I mix 2oz each of Reload and ECH2O in a 32oz bottle. Just so I understand, this product is essentially the same thing for most intents and purposes?
Armor is not meant to bead its actually meant to sheet. Its meant to be a topper or stand alone protection. Keep experimenting and shine on! 😁👍
Hi.. Can i use it as drying aids for every wash? (I wash my car once a week). Or I need to space it out? Thanks

This or Bouncers D&D Si edition or Beadmaker?
Need some autoglanz products on the Chanel especially prizym
who is the winner if you compare with Sonax BSD

Yes...but very little. Yes...a mix of Reload, Ech2o
Well doh! Oh course you are.
So wait, when should I use a quick detailer vs use a waterless wash? Especially if my car is ceramic coated
Use the quick detailer AFTER the waterless wash. More lubrication in the waterless wash to fight marring and love marks.

First comment I already know it's going to be awesome
It’d be great if their 4000ml came with a pump to distribute into smaller spray bottles
What kind of microphone do you use excellent the sound quality
A remote mic. Still tweaking for best quality.
This won’t remove wax, correct? I don’t want it to remove 845 by accident because I would have to reapply it
Nooope it won't. It'll look amazing in too of 845 though. That's my setup for single stage except I use 915
3 oz of uber rinseless wash 29 oz of distilled water
I was planning to use carpro inside for leather then carpro perl diluted I believe 1:5?
Read the bottle.
Can it be diluted with water?
How does it work in the sun?On hot panels?
Best in shaded areas...cool temps. Streaking could be a huge problem in the direct sunlight.
Elixir hase much ingredients more than diluted reload and ech2o
