    Your brows have healed up actually GREAT! The color, the shape, everything! Remember, this procedure is to not replace make up but to cut your make up time down! If you did want to apply brow make up on them I'm sure it wouldn't take long vs. if your brows weren't tattooed at all. She did an awesome job!

      @@kareliii2632 Thank you people have unrealistic expectations. Brows are sisters not twins they shouldn’t look exactly alike and there is only so much outside of your natural brow the artist can go with shape. The nerve of people to go in with jacked up or little to no brows and still complain. It’s annoying at least the artist got paid.

    Here after your update. I completely understood how you were feeling. I’m a perfectionist at heart and everything in my life has to be even. It helps my brain stay grounded. I know it sounds weird but it’s just how I function well in life.
    I just got Microblade today and I expressed to the artist how picky and perfectionist I was with my eyesbrows and everything in life.
    Fortunately…she said she was the same way in everything she did and I’m excited and 100% satisfied with the work she did. I wish they were darker but I’m trusting the process. I have black hair and dark features so darker brows look good on my olive tone skin.

    I definitely saw a difference from your first video and the color not matching. I think she did a great job in the Touch-up appointment to match the color and on camera they look identical now in color. You were not overreacting. The color was definitely off after you healed from your first appointment. But I think overall they look fabulous. I just had mine done as well and I have the opposite reaction… I want my brows to be darker and less reddish or auburn in tone. I definitely want a darker brown color. But I am very early in my healing process so I will have to see how it all looks in six weeks. I do know that BROW is definitely changed throughout the healing process so I know that I need to be patient. Good luck and I do think you look beautiful with your new brows!

    Hey, I am an SPMU Artist I have been doing spmu for just over 2 years now, I do both microblading and SPMU,
    I watched both your vlogs on this and read some of the comments on what people thought about how your brows came out. I thought I would just let people know my opinion of this as I do these procedures. From watching your first vlog about what you thought about your eyebrows before you went to the procedure and by saying about your confidence and what you did not like about your brows were your own insecurities, we all have these and you may be surprised that what we see in our selfs are not what other people see in us. Also not saying this is in your case but some clients no matter what you will do for them in terms of treatment to give them self esteem will never be good enough for the person as its in there mind.
    Also when you went to the appointment I don't know if you were offered a patch test as you must in the UK always patch test at least 48hrs before, I do a quick consultation, I get the client to come with brows they like to do them self and I speak with them to see what type of person they are and if they are suitable for the procedure, If I get that a client is too fussy or we cannot do what I think they want I will not do the procedure. what you were pointing out with the brow being higher on one side is because we all have a stronger facial muscle on one side of the face which will pull the brow up the only way to correct it is either botox to lower the brow or make the other one higher or tattoo the other brow higher, that's why you were not happy with them.
    They look great and you look so pretty!! its just a shame that the SPMU Artist did not take the time before to see what you wanted and what you insecurities were before taking your money and rushing you into it then not really caring about how you feel afterwards.
    People do need to think about having this before getting it done I hope this helps people to understand, xxxxx

      Rebecca Pearl this is a great explanation! I had mine done yesterday and I’m not happy with the color but I was expecting that to happen. I was wondering about a patch test which I didn’t get. Luckily I didn’t have any kind of a reaction. Thanks for your input!

    • @zvaigzde17
      @zvaigzde17 Před 5 lety +4

      Hey Rebecca, do tattoo artist patch test all their customers? Usually patch test is not necessary unless clients have allergies. Some people are allergic to lidocaine used during numbing (but they usually know if they are allergic to it). You are so right that consultation is important to see your potential client and to see their expectations (if they're realistic etc) I would run from such a picky/fussy client. None of us are symmetrical and it is impossible to create 100% symmetry. X

    • @rebeccapearl5787
      @rebeccapearl5787 Před 5 lety +3

      @@zvaigzde17 In the UK it is a requirement to patch test 48hrs before otherwise if anyone has a reaction you are not insured!
      I don't know about other countries but its always better to be safe than sorry as some people may not know they are allergic to products and you can become allergic at any time in your life too.

    • @kizziah7777
      @kizziah7777 Před 3 lety +2

      That is the point of having them tattooed. Yes, people's face isn't bilaterally symmetrical; but if is obviously higher on one side..then yes make the other side higher or the high side lower. You can still get a similar shape. She does seem to maybe have some indecisiveness and self esteem issues. At the same time, she had a point.

    • @healthyfacesuk
      @healthyfacesuk Před 3 lety +3

      @@kizziah7777 There are some brows you just can't get 100% symmetrical the muscle higher, one eye is higher, the brow bone is higher. think if you make the other one higher you will have a thicker brow one side then the other or you will need to take off half the brow hair to create a higher-brow as you can't pull the other sides bone, muscle and face structure higher (if that makes sense?) If you take a pic of your own face zoom in and get a tread and put it across your eyes and see how inline they are then moving to the brows we get trained to spot this!

      I am a technician and it's hard work. You will never get 2 exactly the same shaped brows. We are not robots babe, we are human. Even if 2 exact shapes were stamped onto your face they would both look a little different. Your face is not a flat piece of paper or symmetrical, your bone structure on the left of your forehead is a little bit different than the right side. Your brows are as close as perfect as they are ever going to get. Your brows were different shapes before, this artist got them pretty damn close. They look incredible and I am a cosmetic tattoo artist myself so I know xx being in this industry is so cut throat. You're a great person to have been unhappy but not a bitch about it. One arch is higher and by the nose it is lower. I had the same reaction that you did when I got home. I didn’t have much hair to begin with so it was a drastic change when I looked in the mirror after. My scabs were all gone by day 13 and you can barely see any color now. I spend hours on CZcams looking at videos of microblading healing. All of the video’s I have watched have looked so different than mine. I did briefly mention here 4:00 that I asked her to correct the shape and she did try a little bit but didn't do any noticeable changes, in my opinion. I think she was trying to avoid making it thicker, like you said. It's been a while since you left this comment so your brows are probably healed and looking much better now... what did you end up doing? I've decided to just leave my eyebrows alone and to not continue to play around with them and potentially make it worse. I was like "okay, she is the pro, she knows better than me." Now I'm not too happy with my brows either. They don't have the same shape at all and the right one is so much bigger than the left one and the arches are completely different. Having watched this second vlog, I was relieved to see that you had eventually settled into your new brows and that the shading correction was a success, but I still feel your anguish that they are NOT the same shape. I have been researching powder brows because I am so insecure about my (very) asymmetric (and patchy) brows, but your vlogs have helped me realize that no brow enhancement techniques will ever truly fix my issues and I've made the decision not to have any work done. Thank you for these helpful vlogs and I'm so sorry that you didn't receive the results you had hoped for.

    Hey! I like your video. I love your honesty. And I completely understand your feelings about the entire process. Thanks for taking us along for the journey. When it comes to your face you have every right to say this is how I want my brows to be. When it comes to tattooed brows, how is anything impossible to achieve? If you want rainbow brows, you should be able to have rainbow brows...lol. So making one higher or a bit more arched with the addition of a few strokes should not be an issue. The brow artist needs to stop taking your comments so personally as if it's an attack on her. You're the only one who should take this personally until YOU are satisfied. Once that's achieved, then she can join in for the happy dance. Otherwise, her job is to make it right according to YOUR satisfaction.
    AND... how can you ignore the color, ignore the size, ignore this that and the other but still look at it and say, I love it, when you look like you have a mustache for an eyebrow??
    I plan on having my eyebrows tattooed as well and that is how I came across your channel. I've been drawing my brows on for years and honestly, I've grown tired of it. It's way too time consuming. Im just over it. But letting my natural brows grow seems like such a far out concept after all these yrs. I am very picky about having every brow in its place so I do fear having someone else in control of the ink. Is it possible to go in with your brows drawn on in advance? How do you deal with hairs the grow beneath the tattoo? Do you trim them?
    This has been an interesting process to say the least. But a fascinating one as well.
    I think you look great. When I saw the thumb nail for part 2, I said oh my gosh, they look amazing!
    Thanks for sharing!!

      Kimber Ly I loved everything you said in this comment!👏🏻👏🏻 Thank you! If/when you decide to take the leap and get your eyebrows tattooed, I wish you all the luck and a speedy recovery! I already know you’re going to go from one end of the internet to the next to find the perfect artist, but it can still be a scary experience😰 I’m not sure if you can go in with your brows already drawn on, that’s something you’ll have to plan with the artist you choose, but I’m sure that most artists will want to do the mapping & shaping themselves. And any hairs that grow outside of my tattoo lines, I just tweeze them out! Thank you for the compliments Kim and thank you so much for watching🥰 xo

      I mean, I'm no expert but yes, you can definitely book a touch up appointment and they may be able to make adjustments to the shape depending on what they're working with(I'm sure each individuals situation would differ.) Alternatively, you can have them removed and there are different types of removal procedures as well. I've heard that some removal treatments can leave scars behind, which is why I never went ahead with having mine removed. They're almost faded away completely now after a couple of years so I don't think having them removed is necessary, but that depends on how desperate you are to have them changed 🤷🏼‍♀️

      They are semi-permanent and will fade over time... I read that they usually last for approximately 12-18 months and sometimes even upto 3 years but they do recommend yearly touch ups. It totally depends on the individual because everybody has a unique skin type... Oily skin types won't hold pigment as well as dry skin types will. And certain ingredients in skincare(like retinol) can cause them to fade faster. Hope that answers your question! Xo

    Just looking at your face structure you have an asymmetrical face. Not even just from your brows but I can be see from the structure of your nose. Your right side of your face is more pronounced and "3d", while the other side is sunken in. This will play a factor how it visually looks, light/dark etc. Not saying your concerns may not hold truth, but these factors alone will actually never give you the "twin" look you seek visually from just brow work alone. Botox and fillers will get you what you desire.

They've also faded to a reddish color which makes want to get a touch up but it's something only I would notice so I try to not let it bother me... and plus, it's easily changed when I do my makeup and use an eyebrow pencil. They look good. When I watched this video it sounds like to me that you might be interested in getting a brow lift? I have never had a brow lift as yet but I have been watching it on CZcams and the outcome looks amazing! If you are afraid of needles then it won't be your cup of tea? But what a brow lift is, it's a thread attached to the needle and the nurse numbs your eyebrow area and then puts the needle in your upper part of your eyebrow and pushing the needle just under the skin but not too deep? Then the nurse pulls out the needle and it leaves a PDO thread under your skin and what it does is it literally pulls up the eyebrow and gives it a nice lift? After a year or so, the thread dissolves under the skin but doesn't do any harm to your face. You should look up eyebrow lift? You can also get a similar procedure done by using an injection filler of hyaluronic acid? But I prefer to get the procedure done by using threads? It looks painful and it's not for the faint hearted but apparently you won't feel any pain whatsoever? I can't wait to get my eyebrows done. But I won't get my eyebrows tattooed or micro blading because I have thinner eyebrows than you. I rather just use an eyebrow pencil because I can always change the shape a bit. But you have beautiful eyebrows. And that ombre colour suits you. 👌🌹🇦🇺

On another note, no I do not want an eyebrow lift. Thanks for sharing all the info about the treatment tho... what I really wanted was for the artist to show me more empathy and make my brows more symmetrical lol. But now that they've faded over the years, I just make the adjustments to the shape with an eyebrow pencil and I can get them almost perfect. Not sure why she couldn't see it?? Thanks for watching and for the recommendation xo

    Your facial muscles move constantly even when noticed there is a bit of movement obviously around the eyes. So yes the two will never look the same. The eyebrows should never hurt. They needed to give you more time with the freezing or my girl had me pick up some and put on an hour before the appt. also if they scab they went too deep. I know because the 2nd time I did it with someone new she told me that and her work has lasted me almost 3 years and I never had one scab. Many go too deep.
