- What Microblading Your Eyebrows is REALLY like! I’m so excited to share my microblading experience with you since it’s been such a long process of me finally pulling the plug. I’ve been doing my microblading research for over a year and was SO nervous to do it, but I finally found the best eyebrow microblading artist, The Brow Doctor, does microblading in New York, Los Angeles and Miami. She is AMAZING and when I found out she was booking appointments in LA, I knew it was the right timing for me. Documenting the whole experience was so fun because I wanted to show you what my experience was really like. Overall, I’m so happy with the results and definitely would recommend it! I did my eyebrows this past weekend and microblading was what I went for. As for the numbing for no pain that was not my case; I was in pain but for me it could be that I have resistance to numbing creams so I think that’s why I experienced pain with my microblading tattoo 😩😩😩😩 none the less I took it like a woman that I am and love my eyebrows ❤️
There are several things that can be done to tone down or correct color and even shape. I had mine done three years ago and just had a touch up too. They still looked great after two years, but I wanted the shape more defined and the color filled in because it does fade. I did no numbing, but I've never heard about them not lasting with numbing. Mine didn't hurt. It pretty much just felt like scratching. It was more uncomfortable than painful. My hair is fair and the darker color looked cray for a couple of weeks, but then it was perfect. The woman I go to does scar coverups, brows for cancer patients and those with alopecia and even tattoos areola for mastectomy patients. It's amazing what can be done now. This was the best beauty money I ever spent. You're so right about doing your research because this is such a hot thing and everyone seems to be jumping on it, but it's your face! I have a lot of hair, but it's very fair. Now I just wake and go. I only beef them up if I'm going for a certain look for a night out or something, but I do nothing at all on the day to day. Oh, and if you're considering this and you do Botox or any fillers near the area, ask first. Sometimes, they want to do them when your in your natural state or if you're religous about your Botox and fillers, they'll do them around that schedule. You don't want to get your eyebrows done, get Botox and have them be slightly off.

Also for people asking if it hurt, it kind of feels like a cat scratching your face, and it sounds really weird too because you can hear the scratching but honestly the pain during and after sort of feels like a sunburn if that helps. ❤️

I had mine done twice without anesthetic. It was pretty dang painful, but still so worth it to wake up with complete brows!

I had no idea you micro bladed your eyebrows , they look so natural! I love it(honestly I didn’t think you needed it because your natural brows are beautiful). The brow lady did a very good job 👍🏻 but I think this would be a little out of my budget, so I might have to stick to filling in my brows lol I really enjoyed this video and thank you for sharing your experience! Hi Sona! How long did you wait before getting your eyebrows wet after your microblading?
My brows are pretty full on their own and half the time I just quickly brush them. I just get them threaded to clean them up. I barely pay attention to them!! Great info Sona!! 💜💜

is there a healing process after the microblading and how long??
You Linda didn't answer the '"maintence" question...when can you get them threaded or waxed to maintain a clean look and is there any special steps the tech needs to tech when they've been micro laced? I'm thinking that's what we want to know.

So beautiful! But yikes you can’t get water on it? For how long? How did you remove your makeup then? With makeup wipes?
Where was the microblading done and who did the procedure?
You didn’t let water be through your eyebrows for 5 days. So later on you washed it. Does the tattoo absorb water after the fifth day? I mean does the skin breathe in that area or this tattoo cover the skin there completely ?

I had mine done in June. Paid $700 and they didn't turn out like this at all! Yours are great so natural and look beautiful!
Put A layer of the highest SPF sunscreen on your brows every time you go outside to prevent damage, plus protect the color, thus, making them last longer before you gotta get a another session, if at all.

Shelby Marbury...I had mine done in Boca Raton and am very pleased with the results, best decision ever! Ask around, family, friends, coworkers, someone should have a good referral. Shouldn't be hard to find a place in Miami. Good luck!

I think the experience differs for everybody. I had double the numbing cream and it still hurt. My skin might just be a little more sensitive. I did a soft tap/ microblading for my eyebrows. The soft tap wouldn’t hurt as much, but the microblading would. Still, the pain was tolerable.

Does vitamin C or Retin A fade the brows?
Debbie Colavita Yes. You have to be careful what you put on/ near them.
I did it 2 years ago. Depends on the quality of the ink, good ones fade as very light brown; poor quality ink could go light pink (very similar to the new grown back skin). But definately not green or blue. It works better only if you have dark hair color.

I've seen women walking around with green eyeliner, green eyebrows and lipline! It was popular in the 80s because it was the only option around.
Unfortunately, I don't think back in the day women were told they would be wearing green on their face for the rest of eternity😨
I have tried microbladding and I have to say it hurt like an s.o.b. 😂 while I was lying down I was thinking to myself: why am I subjecting myself to this... lol! The end result is amazing, but One thing I think ppl don’t realize is that when you do this you put scars on your eyebrows which stops future growth of your natural hair which means you have to keep on going back, which means you keep on adding scars 🙁
