Introducing my Chestnut Poundcake with a twist đ°đ°đ°
Easy to make but so satisfying chestnut poundcake recipe with luxurious chestnut cream on top, the sponge is so light my partner ate half of the cake without realising đ·

INGREDIENTS:
FOR THE SPONGE
* 210g Butter
* 150g Caster Sugar
* 3 Large Eggs
* 195g All-purpose Flour
* 60g Ground Almonds
* 5g Baking Powder
* 1/4 tsp Salt
* 1 tbsp Spiced Rum (or 2 tsp Vanilla Extract)
* 200g Cooked Chopped Chestnuts
FOR THE CHESTNUT CREAM
* 250g Chestnut Puree
* 2 tsp Rum
* 100g Butter
FOR THE TOPPING
* Cooked Chestnuts
Savarin Mould/Ring Cake Tin, 23 cm (9")
