I know they were trying to keep cost down but something like this should have been in the pedals from the start. Even my long defunct cheap Tp3a pedals had a rubber stopper.
I’m inclined to agree. I keep looking at the OUT OF STOCK on the Fanatec CSl (wheelbase) and keep thinking that if you could actually buy Fanatec right now there probably would be a bigger debate about product/ecosystem upgrades.
I agree, I bought the SRP pedals to upgrade to a load sensor and I don’t even understand why that brake pedal is not in the R5 bundle to begin with, not only that but the brake pedal still needs a spring upgrade, and that has to be purchased separately as well. Moza is doing good things, but man they nickel and dime you to death with the small things.
After a week plus in processing i just got the notice today mine is finally being shipped with my clutch pedal
Great, does the job as expected.
Looking to get the Moza R5 bundle this Xmas. Hopefully US vendors will carry this.
2022 Black Friday and Xmas seem very promising. Crossing fingers for special prices and 100% availability from all the budget DDs out there.
I recently bought the R9 and SR-P pedals, very happy with it, first DD wheel and I am blown away. Could not find local shops with accessory kit in stock so I ordered direct from moza website, price and shipping was reasonable, just a bit slow to process and ship.
Shipping 🤬 expensive
@@337raekwon Could be your location. Also there a multiple shipping options. Fast was pricey but standard 7USD
Micro center just started carrying them. They are a great buy for the price. Much better than anything not direct drive and a good start into direct drive setups
Thanks for this. Quick question, have you removed the original spring before installing the new one? I have just got mine but the spring seems a little stiffer than your vid. Still a great upgrade, the R5 in general seems fantastic so far. Much better than my old CSL DD.
If you mean the torsion spring that the pedal already has installed. Then no, that's still there.
@@SimRacingCorner that's the one, thanks. I left it in also, but things just seem a little stiffer but it might be as my pedals are not mounted. Anyway, it's still so much better. The R5 is perfect for a desk setup.
Can you use this in the accelerator as well?
Haven’t finished the vid, dropping that algo comment
YEA BABY
Thanks for the review! Should I change pedal settings in Pit House if the kit is installed? Or keep it linear?
You don't necessarily need to change it from linear, but it's worth testing a different curve, as it may suit your driving style better.
How would this compare to TLCM?
Am i misunderstanding something? is there a difference between this pedal performance kit and a load cell pedal? i thought a load cell pedal just had a spring and rubber stopper for a non liner brake feel?
A load cell is a weight sensor like you get in electronic scales.
I just got this kit, is there anyway of making it a little less stiff? Its much better than the vanilla spring but now my pedals are lifting from the floor
nrl 2.0
Would the damper kit you put on the csl pedals throttle fit the srp lite?
Not exactly with the same 3D printed parts, but yes you could get that type of damper mod to work.
which do you prefer? these pedals with the accessory kit, or the csl pedals with the 3drap mods
funny enough i think the 3drap mod for csl pedal is actually compatible with this performance kit.
Hi. If I just put to the floor and nothing to mount the pedal. Do you still recommend it? Seems it will move the whole pedals.....
Mine move too much/the plate lifts..so unuable for me without a rig. Hope this still help:D
I don’t really like my brake pedals to be not stiff but also don’t want them to stiff!! So should I get it? My legs aren’t that strong and I’m a good f1 player. Pls answer ❤
Hit the gym
Have you tried to install this kit onto clutch pedal (to get more realistic clutch feel)?
I have seen that recommended.
Thank you! How would you say these compare to the t3pa pedals?
The T3PA pedals are virtually all plastic, these are of course much better.
@@SimRacingCorner hi, I meant the t3pa pro, sorry :)
I haven't used the standard T3PA pedals but not Pro version of those, so I can't say.
No problem, I am almost sold on upgrading anyway. Thanks for your replies!
Could the SR-P Lite brake kit be installed into the SR-P (not Lite) clutch?
Yes it would fit, it's the same frame.
@@SimRacingCorner Thank you! I am getting the SR-P pedals with the $15 accessory kit and I thought it might be interesting to use the leftover springs with a brake kit on the clutch. That way all 3 pedals feel different. Not sure if that is silly.
Sure, why not, I can understand that.
yes the brake pedal is way too soft. I added an Rc car spring and shock on mine its better but not perfect.
😂😂😂It is the same as using a load cell, I speak from experience... 5 years ago I made an aluminum pedalboard with parts of 2 pedalboards and a LeoBodnar plate, I put 3 Hall sensors and a load cell, the 60kg cell It was damaged quickly, I took the cell out of the brake and connected the Hall sensor and I did not notice the difference... a little grease every year and luxury, there are fortuitous discoveries that open your mind, in my case it was like that, by wanting playing while the spare part arrived, I discovered that they sell us a lot of useless and expensive marketing, the simplest is the best... The Chinese are clear about it, and so am I, my Moza r9, since June it's been perfect
