Whats funny is that finland wasnt allowed to you know put their middel fingers up(thats why their middel fingers are painted red). But then before that is germany who literally have a giant dancing middle finger on stage.
It's supposed to be a peace sign but I guess they didn't pick up the fact that the pointer finger could move kkkkk

Finland getting 218 from the televotes was AMAZING!
When I heard them on Thursday I instantly became a fan! Loved it, so so happy a good rock band won
the moment I realized that rock is alive, but I was a little afraid that they would get the votes at Maneskin.

The new voting system makes the last bits a lot more exciting, but man is it painful to watch their faces when they receive zero points... I felt so bad for them! And poor Destiny, I was shocked at the low televote points they got...
That's on the Big5 thingy. If they finally would delete it, those songs would be filtered out in semi finals, where you don't have scores said publicly - only who qualified.
@@mjm3091 The "big5thingy" is the only way Eurovision can take place, so it's fair to give them an advantage.
Maybe people judged her an imitation of previous winner Netta (Israel) and maybe the song wasn't so overwhelmingly original. Just guessing...

I couldn't sleep anymore because of the energy I was on. Thank you all very much for your support. We share our victory with all those songs that were strong this year because the quality of the music does not count the competition! So much love from Italy! I still don't believe it

The greatest part was the public vote which made Finland, Ukraine and Italy sky rock on the top 🔥 as always, audience knows best, way better than the jury which I still can’t believe they chose those two (Switzerland and France) as top2...
don't get excited tho, the rock fan base automatically vote for the few rock group so that's why they usually got 200+ votes as their votes are not spread. Anyway the top 3 is and you can't say otherwise really relevant France was Top 2 overall with Top 3 televoting for example... but yeah Malta was a bit overrated by the jury for example still this year was very strong maybe the strongest with the contestants.
I think France was great and really, it isn't my kind of music. Gjon on the contrary a lot overrated, boring as f**k although he has an awesome voice nonetheless
@@kennyvendeurdeplafond856 Rock & metal songs performed poorly in the past (except Lordi), so your assumption about the rock fanbase is false. I'm VERY picky with music, especially rock, but I still listen to Finland's and Italy's songs to this day. Stay mad.

Italy is doing very well in the Eurovision Song Contest these last few years
Every year the same thing. The one or two people who are really invested in the eurovision (i belong to this group ahaha), the one friend that watch it seriously but doesn't say anything, the other ones who feel asleep or are on the phone and the rest who go in another room to drink and Chat XD
this has got to be the best eurovision ever. amazing songs, the most brutal and exciting voting, i loved it all
I'm from Iceland but I truly believe that if Iceland performed live they would be at least 2nd. 4th place with an on-tape performance is incredible. It's kind of a shame though that the public in many countries did not give us any points.

I’m ok with Italy winning but I think some of the results were shocking, I don’t think we should’ve come last this year and I don’t think Albania, Israel, San Marino and Azerbaijan should’ve been so low but I’m really happy at how well Russia, France and Ukraine did

I don't understand the televote points of San Marino
I think having an American celebrity involved was a bit jarring for people. Looking at how impressively badly the post-brexit UK did, and how well the native language songs did, it was a very Euro-pride final. That's what I think anyway.

One thing to mention - everything was like in semis. Aside maybe ad-libs, Moldovan singer loosing her mic and the Greek dancer this time properly having both of his white gloves (he missed one in semis).
