Happy Boating :-)
Nothing like splash day!
And, the first firing up of the Big Blocks!! And first drive over to the new slip!!
But wait, I'm getting ahead of myself 🤣
You guys are Cool, the boat just got launched and you want to spend the weekend on the boat. Your either in your 20's or you LOVE boating. Enjoy it while you can. Gil and country girl in the hill town of Massachusetts. Love the videos.
Well said 😀
Greetings from the desert Southwest, so happy boating season has begun for you, Anchor Girl, and the feline crew. Summer is creeping up for us, triple digits are imminent. Ah, well.... looking forward to your summer 2024 vids! Hoo-ha!
The Kitty Kats aren't on-board with us this weekend, but they'll be joining us next weekend, once we've moved the boat over to our summer slip. That way they can acclimatize themselves to the new surroundings easier.
Yea boogaboo is floating 😍😍😍😍😍🎈🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎊🎉🎉🎊🎈🎈🎈🎉🎉🎉🎉🎊
Yes! And it only seemed like forever 😅
Congrats Paul the start of great season
Thanks! And I just got word that our summer slip is available, so we'll probably move Boogaboo over this week 👍
👍👍Enjoy your summer!
Thanks! You too!
Feels right to see Boogaboo floating... Day 1 of many beautiful summer months ahead on the water along with more of your awesome boating videos! I laughed when you said you and Anchor girl would likely spend the weekend on the boat... I'd do the same. ~2 weeks to go. Yeah but, but, how about tiny cat and friend? :)) 😼
Wonderful! No Kitty Kats this weekend, but we're moving over to our summer slip this week, so our fuzzy friends can join us for next weekend.
Purrrr-fect, lol. Btw, I suspect that others such as myself can write a comment on your short videos, I tried, but... somehow there's no "Reply" button option to send a message, just thought I'd let you know. LOVE your coffeemaker short video: I keep watching it, makes me laugh, sounds like you're really enoying the start of the new boating season and it's a form of a happy dance, great tune too :)
One can add a comment on the Shorts videos - that option is located on the right side of the videos when watching on a mobile device...
As for that coffee video clip, it's actually part of a long form video I'll be sharing, looking at - and talking incessantly about 😉 - setting up the boat for the season. Nothing too earth shattering, just a lot of my ramblings about what we do to get Boogaboo ready. Luckily, Anchor Girl was good enough to add some of her thoughts in that video, so it's not only my boring voice to listen to 😁
Congrats Paul! I can see the joy in your face...nice to be floating again.
That look of joy was really the look of being grateful that the A/C install was done 😅
So nice to see you floating. My Sundancer 370 hits the water i. Port Lambton mid May. Want to wax and buff-change engine oil-check for tune up. Want to journey to north channel thins year and into Georgian Bay. Hope cost of fuel gets lower. Have great travels this year. Kent
Have you been down to see the big bridge that we (us Canadians) are building in Windsor?
Congrats! Our launch video is also coming out today! Eternity's Shore is also very dirty but the priority was getting the engines and everything below the water line done so we could get out on the water! Went in on April 8th and had our shakedown cruise on the 15th. Here's to another great season! Cheers! When do you move to your permanent slip?
We'll check your video out today - from aboard Boogaboo 😁
@@BoatingWithBoogaboo Just posted! Enjoy your evening on the water.
So awesome to see it back in the water.
If always wondered, you did you come up with the name Boogaboo?
Boogaboo is an amalgamation of our + our kids' nicknames. Plus, it's original and memorable 😁
Congratulations! Great to have the boat where it belongs.
It sure is!
number 1 thumbs up
👍 😁
Congratulations! It's so nice when the boat is floating and being a boat again. Is this your new slip, or are you stilll in your over-winter slip? Love the dock has steps to your swim platform.
This is still our first year winter slip, but will be moving to the more permanent summer slip once the boat that is in there has moved elsewhere.
Best day of the year - Launch Day !!!!!!
Here's to getting your boat back in the water soon as well 👍
work is coming along nicely. Won’t be long.
Great to see Paul! 😎
Thanks Chad! And it'll be nice to once again seeing you on your new vessel 😁
Swab the poopdeck!
It's in my list! 💩 🐦 🫧
Good to be floating again!! Just one question... do you have to haul the boat out again to have it polished and waxed?
No, she's not coming out until October for some repairs, but that's a video for another day 😉
Hi Paul! When will you be moving to your summer slip?
Don't know that yet. There's another boat in that slip and not sure when it's going to be vacating. No rush, as for now I'm just glad to be in the water again 😊
Just curious- what size is your Garmin? Was it the largest one you could fit in that spot to the left of the steering wheel?
I produced a video of the complete installation, including new Garmin radar, depth finder, dash panels and more - with all specs and links in the description - here;

Boat looks great! Question for you. You have about the same amount of room in front of you as I do at my dock. Do you give your starboard some throttle when pulling out to turn faster. I have a 42 Sea Ray and only have about 10 feet from other dock when I'm out of my dock so it's a tight turn. Thanks
No, never extra forward throttle in these situations - one is asking for trouble doing that. Instead, I put the port engine in reverse, starboard in neutral to pull the back around and point the bow to the port (left). If needed, I'd give that port engine slight throttle to drag the aft end around.
Speaking of this situation, I'll be sharing some GoPro video of me pulling out of our temporary slip as we head over to our permanent, summer slip.
Spoiler alert; that event occurred today, so keep an eye out for that upcoming video 🙂
@@BoatingWithBoogaboo Thanks for your information Paul, I'll give that a try next weekend. I look forward to seeing your docking video. Have you ever done a video on replacing the cabinet door hardware in the bathroom and master bedroom, I found the hardware from the previous owner but having trouble replacing it. Thanks! 1990 42 Sea Ray
@rstevens3221 The only hardware replacement video I have is when I swapped out the door handle on the swing out door to the head; czcams.com/video/WQmsffGps24/video.html
I thought you retired from u-tube?
Nope, I just took some time off in summer of 2022, but resumed sharing new content since October of that year. Looks like you have a lot of catching up to do! 😂
