How I did it was actually after Eilheart or wathever moved to attack the fort owned by orks on the left you can trespass without problems marienburg lands and expand a little to the left against the vampire give them those lands and sell it to them. By the time I reached festus less than turn 10 they already were really friendly open to confed
If you just finish the turn and dont take the confederation, in the next turn Mari will have 3 knights od the blazinf sun and 2 imperial knights om the stack , you cant just move west, get the units and move on the vampires with mortars 2 handgunners, outriders with grenades 6 hevy cavs and afther winning a battle tou can use the skil that ressets units and insta recruit another state GS and another outrider with grenades.

What a crazy find! Just completed the confederation on my new Karl F campaign, some small differences I find is that the 2nd Imperial Secessionists army always reenforce Ubersreik on their turn 1 so the tough battle occurs then, and then that Karl Franz can't actually reach Eilhart on Turn 3 (even with the movement perk point), but he can reenforce, and otherwise worked like a charm even with a few mods enabled! The Marienburg army has a mortar and 2 crossbows which went straight to Karl and I sold the North West settlement to the Brets for some big cash and more.
Well Karl Franz is a good Statement that's for sure😅
Imagine doing all of this just to get a province that is nothing but trouble and makes your campaign worse.
