Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks are back in the Western Conference Finals for the second time in three years. And it's time to put some RESPECT on his name.
Not really, Luka just had a better team and more experienced coach. Luka had Irving who was a champion and even outplayed Curry in the finals. OKC's lack of big men led to OKC's loss. It is not like SGA played terribly like Bron did against the Mavs. You mean to tell me youngest team in the league with an unproven coach got into the playoffs as the number 1 seed. 2 of their main players are just rookies. Please....... Luka could not even make it work with Porzingis but Porzingis is thriving as the third option with the Celtics. People can not see is that this Mavs team has reached its ceiling this season. I highly doubt that the Mavs can duplicate this season's success. Why you might ask? Cause Irving is just one injury or drama away from imploding yet again. People are just prisoners of the moment but kudos to the Mavs.

Shai is amazing, his midrange is a joy to watch and I only hope he keeps evolving and I'll love it if he ends up leading a championship team, but truth is he's definitely not better than the Joker, and he's not better than Luka Doncic (and Doncic is actually younger). I'm loving this Mavs team honestly. Luka is a great superstar, a top 2 player in the league (even the best at times maybe) and Irving is as good as you can get as a second option. The guy knows how to play 2nd option incredibly well, does it without ego, and when the need arises, he can easily put the team on his back. Then you have PJ Washington who's a great 3rd option and guys like Lively, Jones Jr., Hardaway Jr., Gafford and the sadly injured Kleber, and everyone kinda has his role and does it well (Lively has been incredible, love that guy). They're in for a very tough WCF because both Denver and Minny are strong, but I love what Dallas is doing, and it's not like I'm a Mavs fan (because of Dirk I do have some sympathy for the team though).

OKC is a young team, they'll get better. Because some stuff you see them doing it's all about their inexperience. Holmgreen getting blocked by smaller guys, stuff like that. They have the potential to make playoffs again many times, already a huge improvement from their recent years.

Shai is amazing, his midrange is a joy to watch and I only hope he keeps evolving and I'll love it if he ends up leading a championship team, but truth is he's definitely not better than the Joker, and he's not better than Luka Doncic (and Doncic is actually younger).
I'm loving this Mavs team honestly. Luka is a great superstar, a top 2 player in the league (even the best at times maybe) and Irving is as good as you can get as a second option. The guy knows how to play 2nd option incredibly well, does it without ego, and when the need arises, he can easily put the team on his back. Then you have PJ Washington who's a great 3rd option and guys like Lively, Jones Jr., Hardaway Jr., Gafford and the sadly injured Kleber, and everyone kinda has his role and does it well (Lively has been incredible, love that guy).
They're in for a very tough WCF because both Denver and Minny are strong, but I love what Dallas is doing, and it's not like I'm a Mavs fan (because of Dirk I do have some sympathy for the team though).

OKC is a young team, they'll get better. Because some stuff you see them doing it's all about their inexperience. Holmgreen getting blocked by smaller guys, stuff like that. They have the potential to make playoffs again many times, already a huge improvement from their recent years.
