    I just drained my 2018 Edge with the 3.5. I wish Ford had a better radiator drain. Mine is the same thin petcock that is on my 2008 F150, except it is on the drivers' side on the Edge. I put a clear plastic hose over the nipple below the petcock, extending straight down into my catch pan. When finished I just tighten the petcock back up, then fold the plastic tube back up under the lower bumper cover leaving it connected to the nipple. That way the next coolant flush is much easier. No mess! Thanks for the video!

    Thank you for the video. Do you know the part number for the rubber gasket that goes into the housing flange?

    How do you remove the lower housing on a 2009 Ford Flex? Is there a pin hold the housing to the lower pipe or you just have to wiggle the housing out? Please advice. Thank you.

      You can try "tapping" it with a hammer lightly. That should break it free.

    Lincoln MKS 3.7L, overheating, replaced water pump, thermostat, flushed coolant, radiator fan is working…. What else could it be?

      You could have a blocked heater core, or some blockage in the coolant system, bad water pump or some other issue. Does the heat work?

      I changed my water pump and my thermostat. Still over heating. I’m gonna try to see if it has a blocked heater core

      Any chance the temperature sensor is bad? Do you hear the fans running when it's hot?

    U didn't have to bleed the system?!!

    • @DCAutoEnhancement
      @DCAutoEnhancement  Před rokem

      I did bleed it while I refilled the system. I don't recall if it was in that video or if I made another video filling/bleeding the coolant system.

      Thank you for your time. It's kind of a balancing act when making videos. Some people know more things than others and they get mad when something takes longer than they think it should, on the other hand, some people get upset when you skip minor details. Thanks for watching and commenting!
