This is one of the clearest no b.s. videos I have ever seen about the business. Thank you so much. I live in Los Angeles but I am planning on taking a trip to NYC just to attend one of your intensives. Very impressed.

I don't want to go through life doing something because it's safe, the fact that life is so limited is terrifying but also so liberating. I am able to with confidence, go out and drive for what my dreams and aspirations are. I am not acting because I want to be filthy rich, I'm fine with living in an apartment and scurrying for acting jobs.
When I let myself become another person, it's the best thing in the world, not out of some need of change, but becuase it makes everything so wonderous and fresh, and that I'm put on the spot.
When I read about how hard and how much planning goes into acting and when I actually do it, I actually get excited, the things in acting that push people away from living their dreams are things that make me kind of bark with glee out loud to myself.
^ I'm not doing this expecting a response or something, I just am hoping that maybe others are at an earlier stage than I am and these maybe ring true to them, maybe it'll help them with their indecisiveness. It might help people go into acting or push people away, but they are my true thoughts. I'm relaly enjoying these videos.

Greetings! Thank you John. This is interesting advice, some of which I haven´t heard any acting coach mention. Listening to you re-encourages me to believe that persistence, consistent work, and honesty with yourself will lead me to fulfill my
    goals.

Thanks John for this awesome advice. I have always had an acting passion and I decided to follow it. Right now I'm attending acting lessons from D. David Morin and was researching and I bumped into your videos which have great tips.

Loved your videos! Also planning to buy your book.. Could you please elaborate on the point where you mentioned an actor wanting to become an actor so that he could "be loved, be accepted, be wanted..." what do you mean by that? Do you say that if an actor is trying to become an actor because he wants to be accepted, its not the right reason to be an actor? Please elaborate.

Hi John I just wanted to say that these three videos have been very helpful for me i am currently in the pre-production stage of a short film im making... (I live in a small town where i get no film opportunities so i decided i'd make my own!) This will be my first time acting for film and i was wondering if you had any advice for when i'm acting, i know you mentioned about movements of the face to portray your feelings but is there a thing as to much movement?? Any advice would be great Thanks.
