I've lived in State College my whole life. I was so excited when Paranormal State was on TV when I was younger.
I attended the University of Alabama.. it's definitely got some strange stuff going on.. both on campus and in the surrounding area. I lived in a house about 5 minutes from campus that still stands out in my mind, a decade later. So many unexplained things happened there. I was happy to move on, tbh.
What kinda stuff happened?
I'm currently a student living in the dorm at Penn State, and I can tell you 100% it's haunted, both my room and many of the buildings. So much stuff has happened to me it's just a joke at this point, like oh, it was the ghost again.
I bet you can find haunted buildings at almost any college or university, if it’s old enough. Thanks for sharing!
I went to a haunted middle school, and remember some odd things happening. I wasn't into paranormal at the time, but the entire school population and most staff new about it. I can't imagine how fun a haunted college would be. Great job as usual!!
Ooooh, we had an elementary school like that! Thanks as always, Warren! Have you ever visited any of these schools?
@@FrightNightScares I haven't. And Fordham sounds fun! Ghost kids are some of the creepiest! UG and Penn State sound fun too.
University of Montevallo in AL has haunted residence halls, buildings, campus grounds, and a small family cemetary on campus. It's so actively haunted you can't escape the ghosts even in your own dorm room
Woah, are you a student too? I literally clicked on this video to see if Vallo is on the list.
@@frostedjosieos3193 I'm a graduate, but literally you can't escape hearing rumors of people accidentally invoking ghosts or being told to stay away from whatever's inside King House.
I imagine ghosts in universities have great love of learning, be around to listen to lectures, read over students' shoulders, listen to eloquent thoughts by intellectually gifted students, etc.
I live at home with clandestine hauntings, none daunting me. I keep blessed salt in all corners of my bedroom, so that I can have restful sleep. I have one most regular spirit in my life. He is most protective of me. It took me few years to acclimatise to his presence and lose all fears of him and realise him as my guardian. For a ghost, he remains invisible and undetectable. He never has revealed his name, but I have clues of him. He never speaks, unless necessarily. He is an old-schooled ghost with great learning and speaks so like a professor. He knows Latin and Greek. Sometimes, he speaks with a vocabulary of arcane words and phrases.
This ghost male or female??
I love the speakeasy . There ghost stories have the best history of the places they talk about. And just the way they speak of the hauntings make it all the more better to listen to. I see these videos regardless of what time of the year it is . And I watch them anytime of the day but they are best at night and in the dark. keep up the good work speakeasy love all the videos. Happy Halloween
Love this video alot
Thanks as always!! Have you been to any of these schools?
PennState is number 3 in my top 3 dream schools and I've been to the campus 🤩 It's beautiful and yes, you definitely FEEL the energies or ghosts... best experience ever!
Great video as always y'all!
A Very Informative Video speak Easy some of these spirits Really need to be at peace.
I'm kind of new to the channel but love it I think you should do one on haunted movie theaters if you haven't we have a CPL here in huntington wv that seems haunted
You guys are just brilliant thank you from Deb in aussieland
I lived on 3rd floor Runkle at PSU for 2 years! 😱
I went up to Oregon last week for the first time......its beautiful....so many trees.
That's great!! What towns did you visit?
@@FrightNightScares Eugene, Cannon Beach, Seaside, Astoria, Portland (drove through), Lake Oswego......Lake Oswego was super nice.
I love your guy's es segments u should do some more on Montana we have quite a few ghost stories and hauntings here in the Big Sky State. I live in Billings, Montana and we got a couple round here. Anyways keep up the work
Thinking Ohio has the most haunted colleges. I went to A college in DE THAT was affiliated to the University of DE which is well known haunted. NICE JOB Speakeasy !
I’m a PSU alum and used to frequent the stacks but... I never felt creeped out by them. However... the Carnegie building used to freak me out.
Yey! A topic that I know something about! I grew up on campus of Kenyon College in Gambier Ohio. I have experienced the "Shaffer Hall" (former pool turned into dance studio)... I can elaborate on that story a bit, but glad Kenyon made your list!
Oooh, please do! Tell us more!!
As a yearly tradition of the "Townies" was to walk around campus during nights in October. Most of it seemed like BS to me... But on during these walks I went to Shaffer Hall. This building was once the indoor swimming facility, that was cemented over reportedly after a late night diving accident. By the time that I experienced this it had been a dance hall at least 50 years. I opened the unlocked door if the building and immediately felt cold air rush out at me with the clear smell of chlorine. We ran out of there faster than I ever ran before.
There are a few locations that are more of "local" lore as well. It was a cool town to grow up in.
Oh wow... we probably would have high tailed it as well!! Have you been to any of these other schools?
I spent an afternoon in State College but didn't get to the paranormal stuff. I stuck to the history and sports for that trip.
Penn State is special for me being a PA native
Love hearing about haunted college 👻🎃🍂🍂🍂♥️
You definitely have to look into, and possibly do a video about Ohio University in Athens, Ohio! Lots of haunted buildings and dormitories. We even have an original Kirkbride Plan asylum (then, the Athens Lunatic Asylum. Now, the Ridges) still standing on campus! There’s an infamous stain of a resident who passed away there in the 70’s. Worth a check!
@@samanthab1923 Yes! It’s super creepy. I go to school there and I have PLENTY of ghost stories
A friend sister was attending UGA staying in the girl's dorm. He went to stay with her one weekend during Football season. He told me that he went back to her dorm on the Friday night after partying before a game on Saturday. He told me that he was the only one in the dorm room at the time and he went to sleep on the floor. He said he started to hear footsteps pacing back and forth and the way it sounded like military boots. Then felt someone was standing over him in the dark and the entity went back to pacing back and forth. The next day he said that some cars were broken into outside the dorm overnight. He figured that whatever it was trying let him know that something was going on outside.
They should've included Western Connecticut State University. Both Fairfield and White halls are said to be haunted. That said, I was there for 5 years and never experienced anything.
William & Mary didn’t make the list?! Shameful.
Oooh, we might just have to add it to the list... What stories have you heard?
i live about five footsteps away from smith campus and my mom graduated from there last year... 🥲
I work at The University of Pennsylvania and I had my first paranormal experience in the Fels house!! I've also heard many of my Co-workers that have had a paranormal experience
Gee, and all I can say about my college is that it's a botanical garden and Spike Lee filmed a few scenes from He Got Game there. Pretty much the polar opposite of ghost stories.
I reside in the Bronx now and have passed by Fordham and applied there once. But Long Island University is where I am now.
Mom: where do you wanna go to college at?
Kid: Where ever the most hauntings are!
Love it....so many colleges have such history!
Supposedly University of Tennessee Knoxville is haunted. There was a dorm that was said to have been haunted but was torn down. I’m currently a student there. Of course I have never had a brush with the paranormal when on campus.
We also supposedly have James Irvin in his namesake Hall here at PSU. He's just really an annoyance at worst. He used to be in the hall group chat, but I think he graduated.
200th like!
Riverside California riverside city college is extremely hunted by 3 ghost
You should do a series of haunted colleges in the USA. I went to one, Northwest Missouri State Unvit.
We just might continue this one... What did you experience there?
@@FrightNightScares well its a long story, but I went to college and I had a night class. Well, class was dismissed early, and I was starting to back to my dorm, popped in my earbuds on my MP3 player, and started to walk. While walking my MP3 player was cutting out, and I knew that I had charged it up, but I kept on cutting out. I looked up and saw a girl but she was dressed from another time period. I thought it was a theater student who was coming home from dress rehearsal, but when we walked by each other she was see through. I kept on watching her, and she went into her dorm, but she went through the door, and I ran. Well , it turn out that a girl died on campus when she was involved when an explosion, and she died a year after that, and now her ghost haunts the campus.
@@phantomafigirl06 omg 😳😳 you still going to college?
What is LIU Brooklyn(my alma mater) like?
I would like to be a ghost at a nightclub for awhile. Until I got sick of it then I want to head on over to heaven. 🥳👻🤷🏼✝️
That's a good plan... Enjoy the Earth for a bit longer?
lol
I went to penn state and I never got that vibe. I’ve been in all those buildings late at night and never seen or felt anything.
Count yourself lucky that you can't see that kind of stuff, because it's evil. My grandfather used to see evil spirits after he drowned when he was younger and he was brought back. They would snatch the covers off him at night while he was trying to sleep. his life was a nightmare because of it.
We are
Penn State!
Alcorn University shouldve been on here(Lorman,Ms)
We'll definitely add it to our board! What legends have you heard from acorn?
@@FrightNightScares just that its haunted built on a plantation & babies float around a pond thats there people are heard screaming on the campus grounds let alone paranormal activity in the building & dorms
@@FrightNightScares My younger brother (R.I.H.), a graduate of Alcorn State (he loved that school), use to tell me stories of this haunted church and a town right behind campus called Rodney, MS. The steps to the church on Alcorn’s campus are the original steps to a plantation home (carried by slaves). The plantation is located, a few miles (walking distance away). They call it the Windsor Ruins, I think. I didn’t believe him at first until he actually took me to all the places (I’m a history teacher, but I was interested). The “ruins” were the eeriest place because right behind was a chained area (No Trespassing = But we went anyway), and there were the original slave quarters (It was almost as if we stepped back in time). The church in Rodney, MS was scary too. I remember that he put down a $10 bill on the piano as an offering and I snatched it back. I shouldn’t have done that because our phones went dead, my truck wouldn’t start, and it had gotten really cold and foggy (almost like an overcast). This experience was almost 15 years ago. I’m glad I had that experience with him.
Please put William Penn in Iowa on the list
Miami University in Ohio has lots of every stories to tell!
Just tried out the famous motorcycle ghost light legend there last month myself!
Watching this from Penn state lol
im currently living on campus at PSU I-
I was accepted into Pennsylvania State University, but ended up staying in NY.
That's awesome! Have you ever visited the campus?
Money reasons?
Oh, great... Those are all colleges to which I will apply 😂
The only scary thing about college is those 15+ page essays
If you have not done Angelo State U. yet could you?
❤️🌹
Thanks as always, Elaine! Have you been to any of these schools?
Where’s rutgers lol
The University of Alabama
We MAY have already hit it... but if not, we'll add it to our board! Thanks for tuning in, Bama Man! Any other good ones we should keep our eyes on?
My Cousin Matt Went Here
DID THEY HAVE OHIO UNIVERSITY?
