Thank you! I actually found that after I had finished filming, but didn't have time to test it out. Hopefully I can get into a situation here sooner than later to have some more time with these cars to really get a full sense of them.
@@GearboxCarReviews thank you! keep pumping that great content. I love the simplicity of your reviews. You don't overwhelm me with facts and technical stuff
Thank you! That was my goal! I watch so many reviews where they use terminology that most people just aren't familiar with and things a lot of people don't care about. Figured I'd try to simplify and focus on things I as a buyer would be interested in and other people I've talked to seem to be interested in. Thanks for the comments and for watching! Happy to help!
Bought an almost carbon copy of this car about 1.5 weeks ago. It's a brand new 2023 "Last Call" RT Daytona in Octane red. Got a great deal on it with end of month dealer insentives and Dodge rebates. Only 155 miles on it so far and am already loving it! No regrets! Fantastic all around car! He's a keeper!
Great review! One of the cleanest edits n chill AF 👌🏼. So the Performance option on a GT or RT will change the wheels, suspension, D shaped steering wheel, Brembo brakes and advanced Traction Control??? Is the suspension adjustable and can u tell me more about advanced traction control plz thank you 🙏✌🏼🐉🇺🇸🐉🤙🏼
Thanks! Appreciate it! It's been a while since I was in this one, but I think you have to go up to the SRT trims to get the adjustable suspension and the adjustable traction. The performance option gives you the sport tuned suspension, so a little stiffer than the standard, and the all-speed traction control, so it's just traction control that can detect wheel slip and adjust no matter what speed you're going. I'm having trouble figuring out what the standard one is though. Seems weird that it wouldn't work at all speeds. I'll have to dig some more on that one.
I would defer to the owner's manual on that one. It looks like 89 or higher is probably best, but you can run 87. I would stick to gas stations that run TopTier gas and probably run 89 or higher most or all of the time if it were my car.
How in the world did I miss this notification?!?!? Hahaha "NASCAR was so dumb they changed the rules" Love your cuts in the intro man 600 dollars for Brake calipers?!?!?! Jaysus the size of that Air filter! Great walk around, and tour, indeed space for days and love the colour That infotainment looks like it makes coffee Honestly I'd want an automatic in that particular car This particular car, I'd want to daily, I would want quiet I think. Wifi hot spot?!?! Is it a car or a house? This thing is packed with features Very cool review, love the test drive and impressions Great job here
Thanks! Pretty happy with how this one came out! Ha, yeah all the new cars have wi-fi hot spots now and all kinds of crazy features. I drove a car today with an air purifier and massaging seats. Craziness. Ha - it was so dominant that NASCAR changed the rules, not that NASCAR was so dumb. I understand the auto in this one, but I really liked the manual in the Challenger, and it seems like it should at least be an option. It's a muscle car with a racing history, and they've already got the trans that works with that powertrain.
@@GearboxCarReviews that's fair! This is a hell of super saloon judging from your review (I mostly do euro), I'm proud that us Yankees came prepared to play! I've got to get into some more Euro stuff. Those Germans make some good cars. I had a hell of an experience with some Porsches recently, just no video content for it unfortunately. Thanks, I really thought I hit a good stride a month or two ago with a few videos hitting a few thousand views each, so this looks bad in my eyes, but I know I'm my own worst critic. Again, appreciate the support!
@@GearboxCarReviews you're definitely killing it especially only being on the scene such a short time! Bro, I've binged your vids lol, you definitely have some euro stuff, I'm just saying that I don't get the Opportunity to do much American so it's cool to watch the mixture
@@ChasingTheApex yeah I've done a few, but I want to get into some BMWs and some more Porsches, Mercedes, Jaguar. I've mostly done American and Japanese. Just having trouble convincing dealerships nearby.
The daytona package is honestly a waste if u ask me. It's just some decals (even tho it looks cool) an intake that 1 does nothing for the 345 and 392 hemi and 2 sucks in hot engine bay air instead of cold air) and the same bolstered seats with different stitching on it. Its just not worth the $3k+ upgrade
Yeah, definitely. It does have a lot of cool stuff from the Plus group, like the Nappa/Alcantara heated seats, heated steering wheel, blind-spot and all that. That group is $3k then you have to basically add $1k for the badging and the decals if you're jumping from the Plus to the Daytona. I think it looks nice, but it would really come down to whether or not that extra $1k is worth it for aesthetics.
@@GearboxCarReviews I will admit however every time I see a used charger daytona, it seems to be higher than the regular variant of the rt or scatpack. So they do seem to hold their value higher

Just bought the car two days ago, thanks for making it easy to decide what to get!
Hey, happy to help! That's awesome! Congrats!
Put it in sport mode and it will open valves in exhaust and sounds better, has same exhaust as srt.

Hey buddy. Great video mate and this Daytona Edition is a beauty!!
Thanks! Yeah it's a great looking car for sure!
One day I'll buy my dream charger Inshallah, one day.
I hope that day comes soon for you!

Only Thang I hate really is it sits so high..wish they came lower
Yeah, I'm with you. I like to be a little lower too
