I love how the Apes have evolved throughout the series. From basic words, to sign language, to simple sentences, to fluent English. It's really something.

Even watching this so many years later, it's so crazy how Caesar from a young small test subject ape. Became a revolutionary leader and father. Best trilogy ever to stay consistent and amazing story and character growth throughout!
This has the potential to be one of the best movie trilogies ever.

Daenerys Targaryen -- -- Lord of the Rings was a story created by a man some time ago. The movie is basically an edited telling of the LotR books. These apes movies while based on an older story is not a direct adaptation. A number of details were changed and thought up by currently living people.
Calm down. He said ONE of the greatest, not THE greatest. There's a difference, and if War is great then it certainly belongs in the discussion of greatest film trilogies of all time.

What can I say about this movie that hasn't been said by someone? There's not a word to describe how great or amazing this movie was/is.I really think that War for the Planet of Apes should get an Oscar for Best Picture and for Best Actor because the movie was more than a ordinary SF movie with awesome CGI effects.The movie really has an extraordinary story,full with extraordinary cast and it kinda makes you ask:Which side should I choose? The humans?Or the apes? So,if you ask whether or not to see the movie than I will just tell you this:If you'll choose not to see the movie than you don't know what you're missing.
I've been searching for words as well. This film deserves epic status for its power to grab you and hold onto you--it succeeds in creating a world you allow to immerse you. You don't spend all your time predicting gun battles or picking apart unrealistic CGI effects until the last-minute twist provides the deus-ex-machina resolution modern movies have taught us to expect from the beginning. To the contrary, this movie elevates itself above the standard "pew pew pew/bang bang bang" shoot-em-up and succeeds in blurring the lines without adopting a preachy tone. It achieves the fog of war. It's nice to see Woody Harrelson in another role that lets him show off the intelligence and depth he's capable of playing (if you haven't seen him in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, or in Wag The Dog, I highly recommend them ASAP!)... in another thought-provoking movie...which has an equally epic and impressive score.

The trailers were all very misleading, but for once, that was not a bad thing. The story brought me to tears multiple times in it's desire to communicate the struggle to be "human" in a world where so much hardship can easily turn us away from compassion and understanding. 9/10 for me. I loved it.

This movie is the most amazing movie of 2017 so far. It's unbelievable how amazing the visual effects are and the story is so beautiful.
I genuinely wasn't too sure on Rise at first but I gave it a go. Still wasn't 100% sure if I'd like the sequels but then absolutely loved Dawn and War. They've actually done an amazing job on these movies.

It came out during a very crowded summer movie season. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Dunkirk all came out that same summer.
This is well worth seeing though. My personal favorite of the trilogy.

Hearing Caesar say "apes together strong" is pretty dope. Was kinda hoping the last trailer would be the last one, but this is still pretty good and honestly didn't spoil that much. none of the trailers have spoiled anything really, just gone into the plot a little more. Spiderman Homecoming's 2nd trailer is the only this year that has spoiled a major plot point.
