Today, I’m going to reveal which food has the most pesticide residue of all vegetables and fruit.

    bit.ly/2DH0d6o
The food with the least amount of pesticide: Avocados
There are over 34,500 pesticides in food, and those are derived from about 600 different chemicals.
Which food has the most pesticide residue?
    12. Potato
    11. Celery
    10. Tomato
    9. Pear
    8. Cherry
    7. Peach
    6. Grape
    5. Apple
    4. Nectarine
    3. Kale
    2. Spinach
*1. Strawberries (food with highest pesticide residue)
Trying to wash the pesticides off of these fruits and vegetables doesn’t actually help. If you’re going to consume the keto-friendly foods on this list-make sure they’re organic, so you’re not exposed to the pesticides.

Americans are ignorant on pesticides. And to have voters decide base on fear and not fact would be a death sentence to farmers here in this country especially California who has the highest quality safest food in the world. Pesticide that are used here in California MUST biodegrade down to an inert substance within 24 hours. If you are buying foreign grown produce especially south of the border they use pesticides that were banned here back in the 1970’s. And too many idiots vote. And just because it’s labeled organic doesn’t mean it’s pesticide free. Organic produce is spray with chemicals approved for organic use.

To add to this, washing fruit generally doesn’t help remove pesticides because it’s sprayed so early in the process that it becomes part of the produce. On the other hand, washing produce can help to remove bad bacteria and prevent microbial contamination. To combat pesticides, the best solutions we have are to shop at your local farmer's market or take a farm tour so you can talk to the farmer about how they grow their food!

arif seyhun No. The foods that are at risk absorb the pesticides into the interior, so whatever you wash them with doesn't matter. Please watch the video again; Dr. Berg points out which foods absorb pesticides most readily, with strawberries being the most vulnerable.

The best options we have are to shop at local farmer's markets or take a farm tour and talk to the farmer about how their food is grown!

Glyphosate: I understand that testing food supply for glyphosate has only been legal for the last few years. Are there any test results available to the public? In general, what foods have most/least risk? Is glyphosate showing up on organic foods?
I avoid all grains and soy to control rosacea. I don't know if my sensitivity is due to hybridization, GMO chemical profile, or residual glyphosate. Eating wheat causes rapid inflamation of skin, especially on face, with hot areas with large puss-filled pimples. The last time I was pressured into pizza (20 months ago), I had to put ice bags on my face to deal with pain and swelling. Now I feel safe fasting as a viable choice in pressured social situations. Thank you for the research-based information and daily encouragement.

When I was a kid (10-14 years old) we would “walk the fields” (property that was hundreds of acres) hand pulling weeds and vegetable plants that had insects. Now we just spray everything with harmful chemicals. What a shame.

Good advice except that "organic" in the US doesn't really mean that all that much. It only means it's a little bit better for you than non-organic but the definition of standards set by the US FDA to meet the criteria for organic is so low that it's almost as bad as non-organic. Cross contamination from lands producing non-organic food is not an issue in the US either.
