Great video. I have a white BV 350 from 2016 with a wind screen and an official Piaggio top box on the back. Talk about cool. It is the best thing I have ever owned for around town commuting and shopping. We can carry plenty of groceries, and my wife loves the very comfortable riding position on the back. Just perfect. However, I was surprised to hear the suggestion that this scooter can be used for long haul trips. Watch out. The subject is mentioned later on in the video. The gas tank is only 2.5 gallons. This is not a problem for simple around town trips. I fill my tank maybe once a month, but on a long haul trip, you really need to watch the gas gage and preplan your trip to insure there are gas stations along the route. For the three hour 170 mile freeway trip I do once a year to Scuderia West in San Francisco, starting with a full tank, I need to fill up twice more along the way to be sure I do not run out of gas on the freeway. Forget about using this scooter for trips in the mountains or desert where gas stations are few and far between. The gas tank is simply too small for such trips. And speaking of riding on twisty roads in the mountains, I have come across another issue. You will not notice this when riding around town or in a straight line on the freeway, but in the middle of a corner on twisty roads in the mountains, the front end constantly feels like it is about to fold. It is either because the steering column is too flexible or because the wheelbase is so small. I've never felt this on bigger bikes. It forces you to slow way, way down, making the BV totally impractical for mountain roads. Still, it is the best thing I've ever owned for around town commuting. My plan is to see if I can get ten years out of mine. :-) Robot, thanks for the BV videos!

It's my 3rd commuting scooter and I don't know if it will end up being the most reliable of the 3 but when working it's certainly the most capable of the 3. Prevoius were 1987 Honda Elite 250 ( put to rest with 49,000 on the clock) and 2006 Daelim S-2 250 (put to rest with 46,500 on the clock). Getting ready for my 1st belt change on my BV.

Quite the interesting video, Robot: as the owner of a 2015 GTS300 Super that's approaching 20k miles, I can vouch for the fact that one needs to keep an eye on that drive belt (had one disintegrate on me at a bad moment a little under two months ago, at roughly a bit over 8k miles), but otherwise the machine has been bulletproof, which is good, since it's not just my main ride, it's my sole motorized personal transport, period. Nice choice of the Tiger for a big(ish) bike. (Also dig the nod to Black Flag with your Pharaohs SC cap.)
EDIT: Met someone last weekend on a group ride with a BRG Racing 60s GTS300, with the new Akra pipe. Thing looks sharp. I think it'll fit you well. :-)

It's definitely a goodbye forever for me.
The engine brake is too stressful especially because of the stuttering and detonation so every time I slow down or have to stop, all these issues together give me a hard time.
The scooter also overheats, especially during Summer and in the traffic, the radiator's fan very often switches ON!
It's powerful and it has a great road handling but after a while it's a stressful scooter.
